Nowhere near “Andor’s” level of quality, but I appreciated the attempt to at least try to go deeper with the writing.

It’s like me working at the hospital. I started at a new one 3 years ago. They JUST lifted the masking requirements.
There were a lot of ladies in heavy eye makeup that took their masks off and I was like…my head canon was so much different for what I thought you looked like.

A 57 minute episode with only 6 minutes of Mando. I would’ve thought they’d have learned from TBOBF.

Except in TBOBF's, Chapter 5 was a nice digression. This one was not. And it certainly showed the limits of the Volume Stagecraft technology... a lot of the CGI looks super fake.

I'm a fan of the "Keep-the-helmet-at-all-time"
There's the mystery of the character (you will never see his/her face!) and that works in a story-telling kinda way. Granted; the production, or the writers, never gave us the "Mandalorian Law" explaining contexts or special ceremonies where helmets are to be removed! I'm sure that any kind of wedding or day-to-day living allow for the removing of the helmetWhile I have to remind people that it's just a movie, (not real life!) would the explanation of not removing, or removing the helmet make the story more interesting or suspenseful?

I had such I hopes when this show started. It had problems but it really took off at the end of season 2. Boba was awesome. Sweet Gina. Groku's story wrapping up, as they wrote themselves into a corner, and now we can go on to an epic Season 3 where they actually focus on the main character.
I also think most people don't like that the star is never there on set. Kind of like CGI versus practical effects.
Anyway I am just disappointed that this show seems to have taken a quantum step backwards and honestly when you learn about the history of the Mandalorians, they are kind of dumb.

Finally get a long running episode an it was a boring mess.
I guess I’m watching a completely different Mandalorian season 3 than everybody else.
3 episodes in so far and I think it’s great.
I like seeing Din and Grogu together in a father/child relationship and Grogu learning more about how to be a Mandalorian. I like seeing Bo Katan and getting more of her story after Clone Wars/Rebels. I like seeing Coruscant after the fall of the Empire and seeing seeds of how it will eventually fail leading to the need for the Resistance to fight the First Order. Ever since season 1 I’ve been interested in how Grogu fits in with cloning of the Emperor and I’m happy to be learning more about that now. After watching so many episodes of Clone Wars I’m happy to see the planet Mandalore in live action and I’m excited to hopefully see a Mythosaur.
Acting is great, costumes look great, cgi looks on point, starship battles have been really great, creature design is great, high production quality, compelling story so far, I couldn’t be happier with Mandalorian season 3.
I’m not upset that most of you don’t seem to like it, honestly I wasn’t expecting any of you to because I knew it would never be whatever specific thing you expected or wanted it to be. I have no expectations and no wants for the show, and so far I’m happy with the story they are telling. I’m happy at least one of us is excited to watch a new episode each week. If anyone wants to live vicariously through my enjoyment of the show, I don’t mind.
