Limited Run Luke Shared stunt Version Lightsaber ( Run Full )

Re: Luke Shared stunt Version Lightsaber ( Pricing Now Uploaded )

Oh boy, I'm so excited to get my grubby hands on mine! I can barely contain myself!

Re: Luke Shared stunt Version Lightsaber ( Pricing Now Uploaded )

IMO, much more trouble than it's worth. I would strongly recommend against this. More than strongly actually. I've got the master version of the SH chassis on the go right now for the V2 I'll be selling, so this is based on hands-on experience with it.

It would be best to wait for a model specific for this hilt, or to adapt a different chassis.

Thanks for the heads up. I've also had hands-on experience with it since I completed a SH V2 with a master chassis, bar graph, etc... so I know what you mean about the hassle of it but I was just curious. I don't plan on doing this build anyway until something comes out for it. I look forward to seeing what develops once these are released.

I also didn't mean to dissuade someone from hacking or re-purposing some other chassis for this hilt - it's mainly that there are likely better alternatives than the Goth SHv2 chassis.

Please, no worries. I'll be happy to pick up whichever alternative comes along once these are out and about. I'm just excited to receive it. I really wasn't looking forward to drilling holes through my new hilt to begin with. It looks too pretty to do something like that, even if the clamp would cover it up. Thanks again Pixelpiper.

Oh man this is going to be so exciting!
Once it arrives I will print out a prototype chassis and test it. May take a little longer for me to get mine as I'm in NZ so will look longingly at the wave of arrival pics until mine gets here.

Which clamp card from slothfurnace is the appropriate/accurate one for this build?

Hey guys,

So we are finally coming to then end, I just wanted to take time to thank everyone again for joining the run. I need to collect final payments.

Come to find out each hole needed to be drilled one at a time due to the fact that the placement/where they needed to be. so it is taking longer
than expected. But i think when we first started the run back at the end of DEC. and we are now mid march isnt really that long. Not to mention They were still in the middle of making my second batch of Crystal chambers and also doing Romans MK1 and the new saber he released as well. and then had to wait for the anodizing company to send them back. Basically i just wanted to say thanks for your patience. I know its a lot but the parting of the saber/drilling/anodizing/Buffing its alot and i did not want it rushed!.. and we are almost done. all that is left is the polishing but i will ship out those that are not polished asap!

Thanks again Guys! hope everyone likes them.

Re: Luke Shared stunt Version Lightsaber ( Pricing Now Uploaded )

Is anyone who is going to receive one of this beauties planning to "age" theirs, i.e., adding nicks, paint chipping, weathering, etc? I have an idea of what I'd like to do, nothing too severe but just give it a little "used" look.
