Limited Run Luke Shared stunt Version Lightsaber ( Run Full )

Re: Luke Shared stunt Version Lightsaber

As of now there is no plans for a solid piece, There are already tons out there from other members that could be used.

I understand that there are people who don't want to add electronics, with this hilt you will not have to if you don't want to, that is why this is specifically being designed so that you don't have to and will not be able to tell that u can.

There will also not be any holes in the pommel ( not sure where that idea came from??), and the emitter hole is as accurate and I could get without having the real prop on hand.
There will be some cut outs on the mid section but will not be visible with the graflex clamp on. The Graflex clamp will cover them.

The reason for the mid section separated is because I was looking to make a crystal chamber add on later. but I might just leave them as 1 solid piece.

Thanks guys hope this helps clear things up a little?

Re: Luke Shared stunt Version Lightsaber

It does for me! The concealed screw in the emitter and hiding the holes under the clamp are great ideas

Re: Luke Shared stunt Version Lightsaber

I for one DO want to put electronics in mine. I am just curious how the LED/heat sink will sit. We are at a point in the LED saber hobby that we do NOT want to put the LED down the neck, as that just kills the brightness tremendously.

Most of the hilts built for electronics drill out holes in the bottom of the pommel to vent the sound from the speaker mounted down there, such as Roman's Obi-wan Ep.III hilt here (photo from Roman's website). I was just hoping to have the option for either way as I would prefer no holes down there. Didn't know how much you were accommodating electronics.

I'm all for having the option for electronics whether I actually end up installing them or not. Love the design Rudy. Stay on target.

Awesome, definitely add me to the list!

Re: Luke Shared stunt Version Lightsaber

I'd be interested in black anodizing if you can work out a deal.

Re: Luke Shared stunt Version Lightsaber

$190 price sounds good, and I like that we can get the 3 holes in the clamp done. Order from Roman and send him a note that you will pick up, or just send you $45 + shipping for a clamp with holes to go with the hilt st the same time? What time frame are we looking at? With the holiday's it would be better for me to pay sometime after the first of the year now. Black anodizing would be nice as just spraying Krylon for those areas is prone to chipping.

Re: Luke Shared stunt Version Lightsaber

That sounds great! I would definitely go for the anodizing and have no problem paying to have it completely done. The holes in the clamp option is also worth paying a little extra to me. It would be awesome if you offered it "completely finished" as the weathing and painting/machining/finishing is beyond my abilities... either way, im still in.. this hilt looks like its going to be great! Thank you

Re: Luke Shared stunt Version Lightsaber

A non logo clamp at Roman's cost $40. Anyway we could just give you the $40 for it? It's not possible to order from Roman's website with an option of having it shipped anywhere but to (in this case) my address. If you are going to pick them up, no need for a middle man.

Re: Luke Shared stunt Version Lightsaber

I'm in. Already have an extra clamp so I'm good there.

With the holidays coming fast, it might be helpful if we only did a deposit now or paid in full on delivery, but I'm not sure what your needs are. Still I want one and it looks good,

Re: Luke Shared stunt Version Lightsaber

I'm still in for this run! That's a really good price for this saber. I would also be interested in the anodizing even with additional costs. I've got my own clamp, so will not be needing that. How soon can you expect to go into production?
