I am looking forward to mine ;-) and all day long looking at your pictures. Thanks for sharing them. Question: is the crystal chamber easy to install in the hil, is it straight forward or is there a How to do guide available. ( I do not mean the electronic but only the chamber).

Sorry I do not want to make any mistake. The batteries are mounted in series meaning 6 volt toward the led, correct?

Yes, 6v total. I'm assuming Rudy's LED is already outfitted with an appropriate resistor.

Has anyone figured out how to install a CF8 into Romans MK1 with this crystal chamber also installed? I'm looking at Goths products to see if I can fit it inside the clamp. But it just doesn't seem like there's enough room. Might have to just go to a NBv3.

Any ideas?

these were made using the nano. I did bore out more space in the booster but its been sitting on the shelf since lol

eventually ill start up again.

The led has a resistor


still have a couple left if anyone is interested

I saw someone using a plastic spacer/ringseal on the top thread of the kit. Do you know what is it for?

its to help the sliding pin. Its weird, without it you might see some friction when opening and closing so I just added them to all the kits. you can take it off and see if yours works okay without it. some needed 2.

Mine received safely here in the UK, Thanks Rudy!
Fitted it (without electrics) yesterday, it looks beautiful, will add the LED when I have a bit more time.
