Speaking of clamp levers, mine arrived today! Albeit with a slight intrusion by Homeland Security it seems.
They barely taped it back together, and the lever was pretty much hanging out of the bag when it arrived!
Thankfully there was no damage I couldn't easily fix.
It's an absolutely gorgeous piece. Can't wait for Roman's Clamp to see it all together!

I am actually pretty upset about it. It's a totally useless invasion of privacy. They had to pay someone to open up my package and snoop around its contents. That's someone's JOB. How much time and tax payer dollars is post 9/11 America willing to give up to these people?
I asked Roy, and apparently he hasn't seen this happen before. What was the reasoning behind it? Was it me? Was it the metal? Was it completely arbitrary??

You're not the first that's happened to. I had the HS open up and snoop through my order from Roy when I ordered a set of T-tracks from him some time ago. Guess replica cabinetry material is also a threat.:unsure

This is worrisome actually. It means that Homeland Security is onto us! I mean, with all these lightsabers we're building now, I'm sure they think it won't be long till we march on DC & use our Jedi mind tricks on all the weak minded fools that are there. & I think that's ALL of them!

Wrong franchise, I know, I'm just wondering how many people will recognize the line.
So, uh, I've just been made aware by two members what I sent some screws and tape to that their screws were deliberately removed in the mail by the USPS. So, uh, heads up to anyone else sending these things out. Also, I may or may not be on someone's watch list, now.:unsure
