lost boys MARKO jacket replica!

Thanks for the tip!
The General's chalk is removable if needed, however the patch would need to be removed from the jacket so the patch can be gently washed in warm soapy water. I've also used Shout stain remover for stubborn spots. I've accidentally over weathered a few patches myself and had to do that, that's why I say go LIGHT to start.

Well my son went to try on the chaps that we got 4 years ago when he dressed up as Marko once before, only to find out they won't fit. He grew!! They don't even lace up the sides either....just regular chaps. Been searching for the lace up ones....$160 bucks!!!! I can't afford that so my plan is to pull out all the stops on my craftiness, and MAKE A PAIR of lace up chaps!!! I already have the grommet and rivet tools plus the hardware. Just need some leather cording and a pair of faux leather pants maybe 1-2 sizes bigger than what he wears. Then all I need to do is cut out the butt and the crotch, slit them down the sides, hem everything with the sewing machine, add the grommets, add some rivets and Ta-dah!! Sounds simple enough but I'm sure there will be some sort of trouble. I know I could just save up to buy some already made......but I'd rather spend only 28-35 bucks than 160!! Plus, there is a certain satisfaction in a job well done. (I'm trying to convince myself. LOL). Worst case scenario.... I end up buying the darn things, but I'm going to try first.

Ok I will

Or you can shop for a "used" pair off ebay or Facebook Marketplace and sell yours to get some money back.

I could have sworn someone had posted a picture of one awhile back. The reason I ask is I've been trying to do some much needed up-dating to my jacket recently, and as nice as the Popcoulturecrafts Viking is, there are some issues with it. The main things being the proportions are off, it's too tall, the wings on the helmet are off, and I think the beard can be improved upon. Basically I think the entire design needs to be changed IMO. If I can get a good picture of a real one I was going to have an "up-dated" one made available. The picture I posted unfortunately isn't clear enough to be scanned and digitized in order for them to produce an accurate replica. If I'm going to pay for a new design I want it as close as possible, otherwise what's the point.

Here you go. I've seen the black background one from another collector before and found one for sale last year but other than that I've not seen the white 'for sale' but I have seen it listed and sold, these are extremely rare. My intentions was to get this digitalized and made locally to oversea that it looks the same, this black version is shorter than the white which is odd, I've got the patches to check the scale, myself and Rusty did some comparisons to get a scale but I forgot what size we came up with haha.

Ah-ha, it was you! I thought it might have been you. So what are the rough measurements of the patch? And you're saying it's undersized, so what do you think it should be?

Okay just a quick update on these orange and blue squid skirts. It was brought to my attention they are being shipped without eyes. I just spoke with the owner of the company and he explained that this is a new product and the "eye" version as of right now is a special order and requires ordering a minimum of 11 pieces. You can still order a single of the skirt without the eye though. I wish they had stated that information in the description. Anyway, sorry for any confusion, but that's the scoop. In the past we just painted on the eyes ourselves so I guess that's what will have to be done unless you meet the minimum requirement of 11 pieces. If someone wanted to order that many, they also said to leave in the comments that "eyes are required" otherwise they come standard without them.

Why can't they be patches? (not mine)

That's an interesting Viking pin description, international samurai warrior. I guess we've been looking for the wrong thing.

The black viking patch is 75mm tall and 75mm wide (at the wings point to point) and the IDGMIGE patch is 50mm in height so you can try get an image to photoshop to get a measurement

Okay cool thanks. Rusty85 is going to give me the measurements of his too so I can have a general idea of what size to make it. I'm going to first talk with Popcoulturecrafts about revisions to their existing patch, and if they aren't receptive I'll contact SweetlySynnD about doing it with the white felt backing like the original. Thanks again.

I measured mine a few minutes ago, it looks like it's 4.25x5''. This was after printing like 5 of them or so in various sizes and what seemed to line up best with the patches I have that are authentic. It should be noted I had to add the white backing to it as it didn't come with that. I ironed the Viking onto it and added a few stitches for support.

Is that 5" tall and 4.25" wide at the wings on the helmet. And is that measurement for the "image", or for the backing. Thanks

That's 4.25 inches high by 5 wide with the white border. The white is about a quarter inch all the way around (not exact since I cut it by hand to match the photo reference I had). So 4x4.75'' without the white edge.

Okay sounds good thanks. I'll see if I can get us a better one. Popcoulturecrafts patch is nice, but there's alot of room for improvement.

Does anyone have any extra items for Stunt jacket, and or gems for Cleo eyes and bra. Anything would be of help. Shoot me a message thanks eveyone!
I have a bunch of scrap tapestry pieces, patches, and both sized gems. Some of the patches I made myself.( close up pics are all the handmade ones) Let me know if I have anything you could use. For the gems I will send 3 of each(clear and red) That goes for anybody else on here too. First come first serve. Email me. raek1134@gmail.com
