Always loved your Marko jacket man! You gotta up-date some of those patches though, we have some better repros available now. Page 41 has information for a vendor SweetlysynnD, check it out.
Thanks man! Yea I have the blue 13 which is an original on there, the 13 skull as well. Theres a few I’d like to try and find all the real ones, far out there possibilities but if I can’t eventually I will contact her. I literally check very often lol.

Yeah her's are pretty solid. PopCoutureCrafts did some nice up-dates too. (y)

Looks like the Patcave has some competition...
I’d say his Lost Boys collection trumps mine by far. While I wish I had the space for all four jackets my cave is already bursting at the seams haha. Damn mannequin I used scratched my table up real good too, I need to fix it now ugh.

Oh crap, that sucks. My wife would be nagging at me if I did that:lol:

Hey I sent out your package today! Tracking is 9500115856325084575030

The Prop Store is doing their Spring 2025 auction. Unfortunately I don't have deep enough pockets for most anything on there, but it's still fun to look.

I can finally breath a sign of relief with my latest finds.....

This is a Californian Sportswear but the labels are ripped out but it can be verified with the stud rivets, the rear and also the red lining which has a centre diamond pattern. Dwaynes jacket has always been my favourite of the group, just that Markos takes the longest and most research to complete but I found this baby! Its not 100% as there is no button/stud on the second collar, the center rivets are more spaced outwards rather than aligned, missing belt buckle and maybe the rear buttons need to be moved by an inch inwards (though its hard to confirm) but its the closest I've seen is many, many years. There are a range of Californians with lots of variations, the closest I've seen was Brandons (thanks for your prior history on this jacket!) but it had no front pocket but everything else was correct. As there was no tags it was labeled as 1930s jacket, not sure if it that period but Dwaynes hero jacket does show signs of aging and I recall an interview with him saying he went into the stores to find the leather jacket that would fit his role, and for sure I can see why! These aren't cheap either, majority are 500-1000. From what the listing says its a medium-large which is about Billys size, if he comes back to the UK I'll see if he can try it on my only concern now is painting the leopard on it, yikes!

Scored another Cleo, you can see from the one I found and the latest that the colour is much better, finally! The ones I somehow find always are faded but at long last

Update:

So far, I almost have everything I need! I have my Peacock and waiting for my 'Hero' Matador to come in. My Matador isn't in the nicest condition, but I plan to clean it up and use the worn look to my advantage, I decided I might as well go all the way in and on the lookout for an accurate Leopard. For the patches, I do want to invest into vintage ones eventually but for now I'll use the ones I already have as placeholders.

Tomorrow I'm going to pick up the GAP denim jacket that was linked and buy one of cheaper lighter colors. I figured I can dye it at home if anything. I believe they're currently having a sale for the other colors!

I forgot to mention but I am also planning on making Dwayne's jacket! (Mainly cause I look more like him lol.) Is there a separate forum for that or do I post about it here? I'm mainly trying to figure out what colors/paint to use.

Keep in mind that the correct movie accurate denim is black on the outside and white and black striped on the inside. The Gap jacket is the closest we've found to that for modern manufactured jackets. Using a different type of denim probably won't fray the same and have unsatisfactory results.
Something else noteworthy is it was recently brought to my attention by another member here that for some odd reason the front of the Gap jacket is cut much wider than the vintage Levi's, and I would assume thus making the back width smaller. Kind of weird but they showed me pictures and it is. I was aware that the front collar was cut a little different but not that. It's not that it can't still be used, but it's something to be aware of when cutting the tapestry pieces.

As far as Dwayne's jacket, the paint is flat enamel NOT acrylic. To me the main body appears to have been painted on using an airbrush and stencil. The stencil idea makes sense if you're trying to duplicate the same pattern for multiple jackets (there was 3 verifiable jackets, but probably 4). The jackets used that we know of are California Sportswear (hero and super rare), Schott Perfecto, and Lesco. The spots are also done with an airbrush, and then the other details like face and outline are done by hand with a paint brush. The style looks like old skool Asian tattoo flash artwork. I've seen some done with a "realistic" artwork style, and as beautiful as it looked it's incorrect and not movie accurate. When I get around to making mine I'll probably print out the facial details and general outline of the body to scale and apply it to the jacket using Saral transfer paper.
