Yeah we think it is. It's been "sold" several times by different sellers always with the same crap pictures, odd descriptions, and outlandish prices. One minute they're asking $5000, and then $2000. It's sort of becoming a joke on the board.

The RPF member SlimSadie might want some of these peacock pieces. I told her to PM you, maybe she forgot to ask. She could definitely use that peacock tail for the arm of her jacket. Also Vincentprops was just asking if anyone had extra gems.

Here's the new orange and blue squid skirt. I went with a 10" on the orange and blue, and a 12" on the green and yellow. It looks as if that's how it is on the movie jacket. The current set I have is really nice, and I love the colors, but to my eyes they just look too robust and big on the jacket. The new set I personally like a little better because they're a little thinner and lighter, with the exception of the black spots on the blue. I'm going to try and see how the new set looks and will post a picture. I did see that there is also fishing lure paint that is "supposedly" made for vinyl lures. I haven't used it so I don't know how well it works, but it's another option besides using acrylic paint for the eyes.

I looked up the paint. It says it adheres to most metals,wood, and HARD plastics. I would say the squid skirts are more of a "squishy" plastic. I'm just going to use acrylics and save some money.

The description of the product literally says "vinyl lures". I haven't used it, but it seems like a viable option. If it didn't work you could always just return it I suppose. I'm not recommending it, I just put the information out there in case someone wanted to try it. The reason why they are stating "most hard plastics" is because some plastic doesn't take paint well and the paint comes right off. Also, vinyl doesn't typically work with enamel paint either because the paint doesn't cure and stays tacky. However, you are also correct the acrylic paint works as well as we've already seen.

That blue one looks good, I got the same one for the stunt I’m making. I can’t find a green one. I prefer the green and goldish look. Just personal preference, but can’t find one.
