Ladies can be Iron Man too (everything but the shoulders, pg 35)

Re: Ladies can be Iron Man too (video on page 31!)

Hey RPF, let's talk paint and sealers and stuff. I've heard styrospray 1000, plasti-dip, or PVA glue...what are your preferences?

Re: Ladies can be Iron Man too (video on page 31!)

I think it depends on your budget. Obviously, PVA is going to be on the lower end, whereas the other two are definitely more pricey. I've seen great results from others' builds utilizing all three... I think the StyroSpray 1000 will give the longest lasting "hard" finish, Plasti-Dip has a nice flex to it, and PVA glue is... well... PVA glue :lol

Don't forget ModPodge too!

I'm really very divided! I like the way the StyroSpray looks but I keep hearing different things about it's self leveling properties. Wow Planes resells it in smaller batches as "liquid sheeting II" and claims it self levels...but I'm a little worried I'll lose all of the flexibility in the suit if I use it.

Bite the bullet and get it from the UK! I can't find anyone in the US who sells it for less than what it costs to import it :(

ahhhh, though that was part of the thigh.
still, looks great.... armors good too

Re: Ladies can be Iron Man too (partial suit up page 34!)

Looks great, so clean and sharp especially for foam. A lot of iron man costumes tend to look rather bulky, but it looks like youve got the sizing and form spot on.

If I can just get this freaking cod sized right, I'll be golden!

You're giving Iron Man wide, birthing hips, right?

...Yeah, I said it. There are just too many boob men in this thread, I had to balance it out.

You know what? It's sad, but I might have to. Those things up under the ab plate are bones, not love handles :(
