KLINGON Bird Of Prey advice please...

Sorry for the late response takevin.
I used several colors, primed with Testors olive green, then mixed my own acrylic colors., I painted it with 3 shades of green, but i also used orange, tan, red, black for wash and silver highlights. I also masked the multi color green/red on the wings.

Cool, haven't started yet anyhew. Thank you for the info.:thumbsup

I would really like to know more about the re positionable wings discussed above, would this help me at all?

Tek2, as far as a repositionable base goes, you might want to consider a ball-and-socket joint at the mounting point. A fairly stiff one should give you the ability to 'set' the model without having it 'sag' over time.

Along that line of thought, there are some styrene bases for Gundams that are designed along those lines. Might want to look at them, for ideas if nothing else.

Still looks stellar.

OK Thanks... but is it too late because the model is complete?

Probably...

There are some bases with three clear vertical 'prongs' that I think are positionable - that may fit the bill in this case.

Or you could craft a 'cradle' to discreetly hold the BoP, and then mount it to a ball & socket joint.

The other bird of prey will come with landing gear too, so if you plan on mounting this on a stand, it might be better to grab an old release of the kit.
