King Arts International Limited - Marvel Licensed Products and more

I don't really know where you guys can try to order these from. In the case of the Captain America shields some guys were able to order them through BigBadToyStore so I guess you can try them later on (they don't have any of KingArts' latest items available to preorder at the moment - though they do seem to have some 1/9 scale figures). You might have wait a while.

I messaged them on facebook and they told me to go into their store to order.... I've told them that isn't possible as i'm in the UK and asked how I can order, but haven't had a reply yet

Yea their website will recognize that your IP address isn't in theur distribution area and won't let you order :/

It's a bummer that we have to rely on ebay or get lucky and find someone to help out. At least I have some time to save up for that Original shield :D

So, King Arts' Facebook page has updated with a new post regarding the heater shield from Captain America: The First Avenger.

The details are:
2 versions available - a desktop version and a wall-mounted version.
Price will be HK$3,990.00 each (or HK$3,780.00 for their VIP members).
A deposit of HK$1,000 needed to reserve a unit.
Available around the third quarter of 2016.

And of course, you have to go to their shop in person to order it. Though that doesn't mean it won't be available through other channels. Guess we'll have to wait and see. Until then, here are some pictures:

Funny how the plaque reads "The Winter Soldier" instead of "The First Avenger" as we all know this shield only appeared in the first film... weird. Must be just a rendering or something as this shield is definitely not a finished product and will probably have a few differences to the finished version. The straps are interesting but I've no idea how accurate they are. And it looks like the wall-mounted version doesn't sport any LEDs like the previous shields from "The Winter Soldier".

Thanks for the pics. Looks interesting.
I hope you are right and they change the back... it should be Brass colored.
And the plaque... we don't really need it to say "Desktop Shield" or "wall Mount shield"... or "winter soldier" for that matter :lol

Small correction, this heater shield does indeed appear in "The Winter Soldier". At the end, when Cap goes to his museum display to "steal" his first suit back for the final battle, the mannequin is holding the heater shield, where Stan Lee makes his cameo as the guard, remember? ;)

Thank you for posting all of the images form King Arts. I may have found a distributer http://www.kghobby.com/1-1-movie-props/

They have a lot of King Arts stuff in the past that I've stumbled onto before I found the info here lurking and reading. I love the Arc Reactor from IM2 with the swappable Palladium cartridges. Maybe that store could be of use to you guys?

Well considering that it's been 14 days, i think maybe you should contact him. And why would he take over a year to ship it?

Yea you should never PO something on ebay because then you may not be covered by the time it comes in stock to the seller.

The tracking has been updated! The shield is currently in Oslo so it should be here within maximum 5 days! Im so excited! Anyone want some photos?

Where are the pictures, dude?
I was going to post some pictures but my computer would not let me post more than one at a time and i also got really ill and i am not feeling good at all, but if i am able to solve the problem with not being able to post more than one picture, i will make sure to post them right away! I am sorry about this guys!

I have a classic Captain America Shield from King Arts not the heater shield. The quality is pretty good. Some minor paint imperfections.

I did order the IM2 Arc Reactor with swappable Palladium cartridges. I cannot recommend this as a buy. The wooden box is much nicer than the arc reactor. However, so many issues with defects and quality overall. Starting with the box. Internally all the stops that support the palladium cartridges had all broken off either from shipping or because it wasn't mechanically secured. On the top of the box it looks like a repair was attempted to one of the depressions and is a darker stain vs the other depressions. There was a chip out of the wood base. Now for the Arc Reactor. The website touts a metal reactor and this is all plastic except for the cartridges themselves. The ejection of the cartridges was one of the main reasons I was sold on this, but it sounds like a worn out cd drive. I really felt like this was slightly better than a Hasbro Iron Man toy. The carrier for the arc reactor is also all plastic. The construction is so simple that it makes me wonder why it isn't AL. The box alone is really nice minus the defects and repairs, but alas its just a box for the cartridges so it seems like a big miss when the rest of this replica is not to the same standard of materials. I'm now in the process of returning the IM2 arc reactor + box.

Hope that helps if anybody is looking into buying the IM2 replica.
