hey barney as i told you befor i will start my conversion of the toy in the next month. i have a question on the
donor parts you used in the end frome the donor part list and how did they fit on the toy ?

all the original donor parts i have used, did fit very fine. no problems.

sadly No.

quite some more donor kits are required, but at some point i had to stop buying kits, and use close looking substitudes for some of the the real donor parts, or scratch build some of them.

...already got $300 into donor kits, and i decided that to be my financial limit for these.

Seems I will never finish it

What bugged me the most for almost 8 months now is the fact that I messed up the Angle of the Wings. They need to point more downwards.
All the time i have compensated it a little bit by folding them maximally down at the Hinges. But it's not correct that way.

It's not much, only 1 degree or so, but I´m seeing it every time I look at it, and comparing to the Opening Scene of RotJ, which in my Opinion is the most Iconic an most Beautiful Shot of the Shuttle at all.

So I Cut off the Wings and re-glued them in the Correct Angle.

Another Thing I couldn't stand looking at any longer was the rear Gun.
