James Bond: Skyfall

I love San Mendez's work on American Beauty and Road to Perdition. I hope this movie has as strong an aesthetic.

I'm digging the new trailer, although I have to admit, the first image that came to mind when Javier Bardem came on screen was:

That trailer is 10 times better than what we saw in the theater... still, feeling pretty meh about this one so far which is disappointing as I am loving Daniel Craig as 007.

Actually, aside from The Avengers and Dark Knight Rises, this is the movie I've been most excited about for 2012. Even though Quamtum of Solace was a huge step down from Casino Royale I still have very high hopes for this film.

Me too! So pumped! I think that Casino Royale was so great that QoS just couldn't compete.

Yeah, loving the new trailers. Loving the new sidearm. Loving the storyline, the look, the feel, I even lke the new Q in the trailers.

I thought of Walken too, when Bardem was revealed to be blonde. I think most fans of 007 will, and even passive movie goers who saw that film.

Both of those trailers are awesome! This movie looks outstandingly gorgeous!

I'm thinking this might be the best Bond movie ever.

So... freakin... cool...

Bond: Everybody needs a hobby..
Bad Guy: So what's yours?
Bond: Resurrection.

Maybe that's the issue. This is the first time I am looking forward to a Craig bond outing. It finally feels like a Bond film.

QFT!

It finally feels like they're getting all the elements together to have a coherent Bond that satisfies both the literary and cinematic history of Bond.
