I got one too. I didn't like the finish so I refinished it. I can post a pic when I get home if anyone is interested.

Quick question for those of you that have these, are they 100% steel or is that center piece made of carbon fiber (looks like it in the photos).

No it's steel. I sanded it down when I refinished it.

Those are milling marks that make it look that way. If I ever get around to it, which I won't, I will sand them smooth and repaint.

I also plan on getting the russrep one when it becomes available.

WANT! Especially if it's throwable. During the ninja craze of the 1980's I taught myself throwing weapons in the backyard and got quite good. If this think can stand up to being thrown that would be AWESOME!!!

If Russ is doing them I wonder if he'll do one that can fold in half like it's supposed to or just a single piece?

Russ does some great work. Russ posted photos of these some days ago on my facebook. if i am not mistaken. Looks VERY Nice. I had a blast with Russ in London.
We had a laugh and a damn good time.
