Wow! Thanks for ALL the wonderful words and nice comments regarding Mikey's Ironman suit.

Tonight (Halloween) he suited up around dusk and trick-or-treated until well after dark. He scored a lot of candy, but also LOTS of stunned home-owners and fellow trick-or-treaters! :lol

He walked for blocks in the suit, and although he ditched the helmet after a while the rest of the suit stayed on and held up very, very well! :):thumbsup

Here's a picture with the full suit on (including the gloves). Eyes, arc reactor and repulsors lit up!

Everyone had a GREAT time! It was very, very satisfying to see him having a good time and enjoying the attention it garnered. :$

Now, that they are all in bed and asleep, I'm heading to bed.... daddy is VERY tired! :sleep

Wow. Alot of work for someone who will grow in a little bit. That suit is amazing. Would have been awesome to have on of these when I was a kid.

Stunned at how nice it turned out. All the time that this thread was running, I swore the kid would turn 6 before you finished the suit. That is clearly the best halloween costume ever!

Too bad he will outgrow it. What are you going to build for next year?

Way to set the bar, awesome-dad. If I'd just dropped in and seen the results I'd have thought "That's amazing but he's clearly a professional and a normal human could never do that!" But you not only made it look great, you made it look possible. I'm already thinking about next year because of this and a dozen other great builds.
