I have a question! I'm 12 years old and currently building the mark 6 suit but I'm confused with the abs and the chest and back? Are the abs on your suit glued on to the chest? Or separate??

i answered your pm and i will answer your question here also:

i never glued the ab piece on the chest/back/upper torso, i will lose mobility if i do so, it also serves as a breather for me since its the only space i can breathe properly. . .
but i do glue the ab and cod piece together to preserve the proportion and the detail. . .

I'm jealous. 90% of my boxes are hand-built, large ready-made boxes are hard to find for me, so I have to build those after I get done building a suit. Hassle.

I've got so busy this past days. .errr weeks. . .and still I haven't forgot to update the thread . . .

Here's my current projects. . .Still on WIP stage though. . not as good as other builds out there

Mark 17 Heartbreaker Upper Torso with shoulders done

Need to add some prop tubes for the details. . .

Mark 5 (Syrus54 upper torso and front ab plate done, the plan is to use the low poly file for this and freehand the other ab part detail)

Mark 42 (Helagak's file, chest done, spidey colors :lol)

Just need to add the RT Circle and the silver details in the colar

and a little bit off topic. . .but still one of my current projects. . ."Man of Steel" General Zod Armor. . .just getting the legs done

Got myself on costume building frenzy right now, multitasking some stuffs, and just to post some update, mainly on the Mark 42 and Mark 17, I'm still doing some parts for the Mark 5 ATM

Got Kyle's Mark 17 foam helmet started, still need to get the back section done,

Plan is to coat this with epoxy primer so that it will have a near fiberglass/bondo finish.

and got Joseph's Mark 42 helmet done, yes, old school pepakura, this will be fiberglassed and bondo-ed sometime in june, the reason I used the old school pep (Gimpee's helmet file by the way) is because I will motorize the faceplate, and I need a rigid helmet to do that,

I've built a couple props before (proton pack, arc reactor, etc) but nothing near as ambitious as a full size suit. I was considering starting with either a mark 42 or a general zod and the fact that you're doing both is blowing my mind! Lol.

Starting with the mk 42 might be very discouraging.
If you can stand it, the mk3 is a good starter

I guess one never can have too many iron man suits hanging around the apartment. That zod armor might be a good starting point too.

If you dont mind me asking, which pep file did you use on that one ironmaided?

Got Juan's Mark 5 foam helmet done (almost, i need to get the ear done), 4 hours of work, to be sealed with epoxy primer and sand to get the same finish as my Mark 7 Helmet.
