Into Darkness Dreadnaught (Spoiler Alert?)

Alright folks...
I guess that I will be the first to post about it but the Dreadnaught seen in the previews to Star Trek Into Darkness is kind of awesome. I have not heard anything about marketing other than the Kreo stuff. Think we will get a model of this bad boy?

It's kind of busy, I'm not sure what they were going for.

I want to see it from more angles. Looks like the ******* offspring of the Enterprise and the Galactica. I almost like the cutout saucer, but if you're going to make all the rest of it angular, don't keep the saucer curved.

I like one of the concept art pieces for Enterprise-as-warship from the proposed Final Frontier animated series:

To me, it looks like something that was designed for a video game. Look at the nacelle supports - no smooth curves. It's hard lines, like a low-rez polygon model.

im still against the whole jjprise, and this thing just looks like a fan-boys creation. gene is in full speed "Rotisserie" mode.

Looks like the saucer section has a promenade ring around it. That way, when the crew is on the glass bridge, they can look into the windows and see what the store keeperes are putting on display and say, "I need to swing by the mall on the way back to my quarters tonight!"

Seriously, there is nothing Starfleet about that ship. the saucer is a complete waste of engineering space! How many deck could have been added into that space? The windlws look out to what, other windows across the hull?

It really looks like an 8 year old tried to make an enterprise model out of cardboard!

I just had to google this to make sure it wasn't a wind up. I didn't have any issues with the JJ enterprise but this is the first star trek ship that I just cannot accept as part of the star trek universe. It looks like starfleet's engineers have been studying origami. That is one poor design. Bloody awful

I agree. It would be way too easy to model with legos. I am planning to see the movie, anyway. I hope I am not as disappointed as I was with The Hobbit! :(

Nice of them to keep some consistency with Star Fleet design aesthetics. The Enterprise is relatively new and yet the Vengeance bears not the slightest resemblance to any part of it. It's like they're a bunch of nimrods making this stuff up as they go. :confused
