Indiana Jones (Disney+ series)

They've said they won't re-cast it, so it'll have to be animated.
Maybe they'll go the route of the "Invisible President" or "The Faceless" tropes and always keep Indy just out of frame, or in shadow, or only show his back, or hands, or fedora. In other words: the first 3 minutes of Raiders.

The rumors point to the show being more of a spinoff, as in no Indiana Jones. Rumor is the plan is similar to the original plan for Mutt Williams... introduce someone to pick up the mantle. Just like Marvel and Star Wars are doing so successfully.

The rumor is
Phoebe Waller Bridge is going to take the mantle and star in the Disney+ show. It's just a rumor at this point but given Disney's recent shows and movies I believe it.

What happened to the Abner Ravenwood rumor? Did that go away?

Ya know they could, and here is a crazy idea, make his female sidekick awesome, humbled as Indy often is, earn her place, not trash him or men in general, and then spin her off to her own adventure series without kiliing, pissing on, and in general mocking Indy.

Then, and here is the real crazy part. We might actually like it and watch you dumb Disney DipS%$%%#@!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
