That is hardly the first time that's supposedly happened.I’m reading ‘insider’ news now that projections are so low for ticket sales Disney is buying up tickets and giving them away in an effort to mitigate opening week box office figures.
I literally just saw a commercial while reading this from Applebees that if you spend $35 you get a free ticket to Indy 5...lolThat is hardly the first time that's supposedly happened.
They are really desperate.I literally just saw a commercial while reading this from Applebees that if you spend $35 you get a free ticket to Indy 5...lol
You win the internet for today.
Let's say that psychologically, Disney/Lucasfilm needs Indy 5 to break the $100 million over the opening weekend. How many $milions more does that add to the deficit? If you assume that (on average) any one ticket is $10 USD and you are trying to game the system by giving the opening weekend box office a $30 million artificial bump, then you are:I’m reading ‘insider’ news now that projections are so low for ticket sales Disney is buying up tickets and giving them away in an effort to mitigate opening week box office figures.

It's like, what one person is going to spend $35 on a meal at Applebee's? So, you bring a friend, a date or whatever. Now that you've spent over $35 you get your free ticket...one, which means you still need to purchase another ticket if you plan on going together...oh darn, which means you'll spend $50 just on some drinks and a bucket if popcorn. Do they think we're really that gullible to spend all that money to see Indy 5? Not a chance. Coming to a $3 Walmart dump bin near you.You know, I haven't been to Applebee's in quite a while. But, for good reason.

Neither doomy or mike. The news has come up over several entertainment websites now and clownfish also did a video about it.1. Who is relating the “insider” news?
2. And, does he wear a mask, or have a last name that represent a numerical value that rhymes with “Nero”?

It ONLY broke that cycle because it was the 2nd one made and only labeled part V at the time.
I'm finding it more believable that a bait and switch was the original plan and ultimate reason for the extensive re-shoots.I ate there sometime this year. You do not need to ever eat at Applebee's...
I did see some "news" about Kathleen Kennedy saying it's possible that Phoebe Waller-Bridge could take over the Indy franchise. Remember when Disney/Lucasfilm and James Mangold were screaming how everyone was wrong and would never pull a bait and switch?
This is the exact reason why I won't watch it. I've seen too many icons torn down to want to watch another one of my fictional heroes reduced into a pathetic loser. There's nothing appealing about that whatsoever.
