I modified the 1100 and GX badges that Hamsterstyle made to be curved. Definitely print with supports, it doesn't matter if it's rough on the bottom since that part is against the leather anyway. I also made the piston in case anyone needs it.

I originally did them curved, but then I figured out it looks better and is easier to print them flat, and then use a heat gun to curve them. They use less material and come out smoother.

I think for just the torso you want the Jumbo size, but honestly the Worbla stuff lacks a lot of structural integrity from what I've seen. I tried it and resolved to use PETG with heatgun instead.

(Will tone that pink down a lot with white fabric paint to simulate the powdered clay. Also, without the sides laced, the weight of the chains and medals had pulled the armor way down in the front in that photo)

thanks for the link! although I am totally clueless to how these tools are used, from what i can guess by looking at them, these are used along with a hammer? my only previous experience installing snaps was using this handheld device thingy, i looked them up and they're pretty expensive!

Yes, used with a hammer. This is "old school" but cheap! And this set will work for any fastener out there.
