Ideal Height/Weight for Spidey (ADDED MY PICS. Now Add yours!)

I have another question for all you spideys. How do you store/put away your suit? I've had it in a box before, then on a zipped up suit bag hanging from my closet but lately I just keep it in a plastic drawer along with it's upkeep supplies:

El Fett,

Thats a awesome looking suit, is that a Ollie or Spidey planet and is it printed on a two color fabric or white lycra? Eventually I will upgrade to a real web Spidey.

Thanks bro. That would be my Ollie suit. I'm actually very glad I held on to it since its impossible to get now and Ollie pretty much disappeared. It's printed on white Lycra/spandex like the 2nd and 3rd movie suit. It's made with almost exact specs as the movies' suits. It's a very beautiful suit but it requires a lot of love and maintaining. I hardly ever put it on because of that reason. I've never taken it outside to a con or anything like that.

I think a thin waist is the key. Maguire looked kind of thick in the middle at times. Of course in cgi he lost 20 pounds and gained 6 inches in height.

Geez man you guys look great in the garb, im 5'9" 188 lean tryn to loose a few to fit in a suit before NYCC especially after seeing you guys lol..Still have to get a suit but I have time.

I'm 6'4 and looking for a Spider-man costume. I know I'm taller than the official stats state but I don't care. Well, my eyes are the same color as his, under the suit anyway.

5 ft 11 140 pounds 8% body fat and a damaged shoulder so can only do cardio or i just look odd with certain muscles big and the rest none existent lol

Untitled by spidermanorthecentury, on Flickr[/IMG] my costume is crap and i have a muslce suit underneath lol

I'm trying to get a Spidey build going. Among other things. However I stand 6"4 and am planning on weighing in at about 95kg, roughly trying for the same build as Hugh in Xmen origins. So safe to say my spider will be rocking some muscle. Will also help with the physique for my Green lantern, Wolverine, and Batman Begins costumes though.
Prob try for a Thor build for a new years eve party too.

Damn Luna, you look straight off the pages! Very cool!

I realize I never really updated my stats here and I'm the one who started the thread. Doh!

Okay this is from May 4th, 2013. Still 5'7 but down to around 158 lbs. Not bad since I think I started this thread at around 175 lbs or so.

Amazing Spider-Man level "still thick" LOL!

Thanks very much! You're looking great in your MCL34N suit. I'd like to be able to build more upper body mass like yours eventually to get a more "classic" spider-man size, when I "grow up." :) But right now I'm fine with being teen spidey, as long as I'm staying healthy there's many great ways to look like Spider-Man, evoking different artist's interpretations. The only common requirement is that Spidey's got to be physically fit and strong, no matter what his size! :)

Thanks! I've since done some re-vamping to the MCL34N suit since I had to do repairs anyways.

Here's my battle damage suit (or maybe I should say DarkTurbo04's since he's the new owner :p). I am definitely more top-heavy no matter how much weight I lose. I have a broad back and chest so I just have to play with that.

And Bboy, more power to you bro. The stunts you pull on that suit are very impressive! I can't do that at 158, much less at 220! You gotta have a super strong core to pull those moves.

Right on, man, you got to play to your strengths and work them. For sure.
For me, I'm not very physically imposing because I'm tiny, but I'm real flexible and wiry, so I play to that instead.

I second that! Amazing acrobatics. :)
