already been sewn together, and was told (after i paid for it, but before i have it in my hands) there was some sun fadeing so it could use another brown dye job...

should i go to my local store and pick up one of those big tupperwear containers (think tupperwear toy box) with the top and try to throw it in there to dye it?

as you can tell i know nothing about the correct dye process .......... thanks in advance

Best instructions I know of are at Dharma Trading's site http://www.dharmatrading.com/techniques/

The fast answer is... Depends on what the fiber content of the fabric is. Many things get best results from the washing machine method.

thanks guys. i have no idea what the fiber content is/would be.. not even sure of the fabric, but i guess i can email the maker and ask ..

Hey Dave, if you have a washer machine thats the best, then just get RIT dye and follow the instructions, always worked for me....

If you do not have access to a machine then yes the tupperware works just fine :) just be sure to boil some water and premix the dye if you get powder.
