More pics of the prototype we've been shown.
This is somewhat worrisome. I understand they need to see a return on their investment and plan for production and materials, but we run the risk of handing over cash for what may end up being an inaccurate final product. If anything, a deposit might seem fairer, with a deductable % If you later cancel.I just read their latest blog post. Seems we won't see a final sample at the time preorders open and we have to wait. A bit unfortunate because we won't be able to see if the fixes to the color have been done.
I'm going to wait until I see what it looks like. I can't take that big of a risk for something I might not feel is worth it.This is somewhat worrisome. I wouldn't understand why. July 5th is the anniversary of the theatrical release of the first film, which is when I wanted a jacket, and November 5th is the first successful temporal displacement. The 21st is a Part II thing. They seem convinced that having the jackets delivered by October 21 is really important to somebody. I don’t know who.
Maybe the buttons are low on the real one on purpose? Mine are also far down.
Exact placement of the snaps varies jacket to jacket. But we are replicating a movie prop so accuracy matters.Maybe the buttons are low on the real one on purpose? Mine are also far down.
I'm probably stating the obvious in this forum, but October 21st is considered 'Back to the future day'. Now I get the relevance, but I'm pretty sure none of us are that precious having already waited this long. Id sooner it was perfect and released at Christmas (for instance). I invited them to the forum but have had no response thus far...They seem convinced that having the jackets delivered by October 21 is really important to somebody. I don’t know who.
