Harry Potter Props and costumes

Hi,

Wow, a Beautiful Work !! The Map is Awesome.

Thank you very much for make it as free paper prop for all.

Here is my Hogwarts Hymn ( not free paper prop :) ), I redraw all the letters because it's not a font just like the Marauder's Map.

I just got my new Noble Collection catalog and they had this in it. I hadn't seen the note from R.A.B. yet.

I've finished the Quibbler cover from the Order of the Phoenix. I'ts not totally accurate because I didn't found the wizard and some of the subscription information was created by me. But i'm happy with the results, and a thanks to Tymex for helping me with the banner. I attached a preview. :cool

For those that have PM'ed me about the missing Chocolate Frog Box pix, After clearing out old pix on my Photobucket account My computer died and I lost all the files.
Some files where backed up on CD but not the HP files.

Unless someone else saved them you'll have to do the leg work to find them as I did.

Maybe I'm misremembering, but I thought the stone in the ring was one of the Hallows, and if that's the case it's completely the wrong shape.

Please, if anyone has the pics. Please post here or send me a PM. I've searched, and only found two of the six you have posted. If anyone is interested in the two I found I posted them here:

Thanks since now.:thumbsup

From checking the descriptions in HBP and DH, the shape of the stone was never really stated; all that was said was it was a large/heavy, black-colored stone set in gold, with the sign of the Hallows etched on it.

If you're one of the people reading this who have only been following the story via the films, the following link is deffo spoiler material.

Guess I was only half right...

These replicas look good - very likely screen-accurate to a very high degree.
However, the screen version of HP props never quite match what I visualize based on descriptions in the books.
<sigh>

I have quite a few on my very old laptop (in storage). I hope to have either Saturday or Sunday off (financial statement auditor, so I pretty much work 16 hours a day until April), so I will look then, transfer them to a flash drive, and get them to you sometime next week.

Welcome! There are some "officially released" versions that pop up on the auction site from time to time. The inside pages aren't accurate at all, I don't believe, so I would mainly only buy it for the cover, which is a very close match. (I think the only difference is a bit of stitching around the border.) I've been trying to find the metal corners from it to create my own, yet I haven't had any luck yet...

They don't let you take photos inside the exhibit, which is in Chicago right now. I'm trying to figure a clever way around that, as we'll be up there in a few weeks. :love

Good luck! We were at the exhibit a few weeks ago. There is security everywhere! :eek

It's a very sweet exhibit and cool that many of the props and costumes are so close that you could touch them if you feel daring. We leaned in close to memorize as many details as we could. :lol
