Harry Potter Ministry of Magic Identification Card

Thank you so much!!! We are doing a Hogwarts "homeschool correspondence course" for our co-op and these will be fantastic! Thank you for re-adding them for us so we can use them <3

I'll pm you.

I've been to the WB Harry Potter studios this week and I held one of these in person, now I regret so much having not gotten it, but the cue was insane and I was running short on time :(

This is a long shot, but do you happen to still have the PSD file? Just wanted to alter some numbers if possible and get the M on the inside foiled. I'm also wondering if the stamp where the photos goes is a psd mask, so I'd not have to fiddle with it to make it stand over the picture.

Hi GabDIY03 , glad you like the files. Sorry to disappoint, I think I made an exception for Joma1124 as they were an active member of the community (and pinky-promised not to do anything naughty), but as a general rule I don't hand out my working files.

If anyone out there wants a MoM ID, I've given them a shortcut by providing print ready files. Easy. A morning spent feeding card through the printer, stapling and weathering... heaven.

If someone wants a custom version, they can absolutely take my files into Photoshop and clone and font match etc. to their heart's content. No problem. My files are on the internet, I can't stop anyone and I don't really mind. Maybe someone will rip them off and sell them, but no one gets rich selling paper props*.

Handing out working files feels like a shortcut too far. Software like Photoshop is powerful and fun. Anyone asking for a PSD has the software necessary to edit the flattened files, and they're missing out on developing the skills to create/edit things like this for themselves. Show a little willing and I'll even give advice on how to go about this.

The joy of these things is in the making. Take a run at it and let us know how you get on.

Hey Krats, thanks for the reply, this post is kind of old and I thought I'd not receive an answer at all.

I understand, you went through the hassle to recreate something the OP decided to not share anymore, and thus it's well within your right to not want to share the editable version of it. I looked online for quite a while for a good quality clean template, and I did see many people selling templates on various sites, most of them with the same numbers, so I gather they all got them from the same place. I understand you didn't want people taking advantage of your effort. Trust me, I do. People don't seem to have hobbies just for fun anymore, everything must be turned into a quick buck, which is kind of sad.

You just didn't have to be patronizing, mate. The part where you say you made an exception and just don't want to share the file with other people would've sufficed. I would've understood the reason and still thank you for your answer.

Photoshop is actually my field, given a few hours I would have - probably - been able to make my own close approximation of the ID, looking online for reference. Honestly, I just didn't want to go through the hassle today. I just wanted a fun, quick project to keep me entertained for a couple of hours while I'm still on the high from my trip to the HP studios, and to mitigate the regret of not having gotten the real thing when I could have, to display on my bookshelf alongside the souvenirs I did get.

Still, thanks for getting back to me.
Keep creating.
