I agree!! Great work bfd![]()
@barney, the permission slip looks great, do you have any plans to do a signed version like you did with the Gringotts Deposit slips
What language is this btw Anneleen? I voted and it told me: Bedankt voor het meespelen. Klik hier voor alle prijsvragen van 7Days.
Can you translate?
Call it whatever they want. It will always be Hinkypunks thread.....
As I understand it from reading about the foil transfer ( I haven't actually tried it) you print the parts that you want the foil to be on first, because when you apply the foil, the ink will "soak up" it up (you have to put the foil sheet over what you printed and apply heat with for example an iron) and then you print the rest of the design over it.I've got a question about the Heat Foil Transfer technique....do you print the parts that aren't to be foiled first and then laser print the parts you want in foil over that or do you laser print the black (to be foiled) parts first, set the foil on, and then reprint the rest of the image through the printer? I want to try this on another potions book, but I'm not sure how accurately things will line up.
@bfd, hinky, or anyone who knows photoshop really well, I spent about two hours with online tutorials and I have a couple of questions about the pen tool.
1. How do I delete a direction handle?
2. When I finish my path, when it is a complete shape, I went to the "Paths" tab next to "Layers" selected my path (which was automatically named "Work Path") and pressed the third button from the left to make my path a selection. When I do this the whole picture is selected EXCEPT whats inside my path. How do I make it select inside the path? Or, how can I invert the selection?
Just fyi this is CS 4 and I'm on a mac running snow leopard.
