KNIGHT BUS TICKET

There have been a couple of really good Knight Bus tickets posted here but I was looking for something a little more like the ticket in the movie.

Although you never really get to see the the ticket up close in detail you can see it as it comes out of the dispenser and it appears to be just a plain piece of paper with perhaps blue printing on one side. It kind of reminded me of the bus transfers we used get on the city bus which looked similar and were on plain newsprint paper.

Anyway i scoured the net and came up with a decent base and modified it for the knight Bus ticket.

Here's a picture of the ticket I printed out on newsprint. It's not much but it works for me.

If any interest I will post the image file.

bfd, that is so cool! how did you do the perforated edges?
and woozelmom answered the question for everyone! of course we want it! everything you make is just amazing.

bfd,
Thank you for posting the Knight Bus Ticket :)
The idea of ripping the ticket on the serrated edge of the foil box is totally inspiring!!! Now that's what I call adventure craftin' :lol

HAHAHA Thanks everyone again!
Actually there is a serious accident on my covers (as you may noticed if you look closer!)
I went down to the local printing store to print my covers but they were all smaller than my actual size..
and I don't know what's the problem (was it mine or the store..)
I have left some bleeding for the covers already but they're still smaller than the books!!
Luckily the books original covers's color look quite close to the new covers,
so I can still have a good result.. this is a great experience,
although the books are not perfect, but I still love them!!!
So everyone make your books now!! You will WOW to your works too!!!
I was very happy during the process.. the feeling is fantastic !!!
ENJOY!!

I am going to have my Australia trip soon,
so I have to take a rest and maybe I will make more books a year later XD
Now I'm going to the Harry Potter Exhibition at Sydney!!! YEAH!!

It's so fortunate that I have some blank newspaper paper that my newspaper agent gave me, you know the blank ones that hold the newspaper for te shops. I didn't know what to do with it because since it had a lable on and is more than A3 I couldn't print on it, now I'll just resize them to A4 and get something out of it....now if only I have blue ink. That's the reason why I don't show what I make, because I can only make black and white things for now. I'm not the one that buys the ink ehre (I don't have the money either) Can't wait to go to uni, there are some competitive stationaries around there and then I can finally print everything to my own heart's wish. I think after my resit (I'm scared!) I'll host a workshop for my friends/cospay friends. I think this is a good fun idea for everyone. tell them to save glass containers, tea stain some paper and have a variety of paper as well. Some watercolour and sharpies and scissors. Print the whole alphabet of a variety of nice looking handwritten fonts and maybe some nice swirly lines for decoration/edges and some leaves etc for ingredients and potion label shapes. then everyone will make their own potions! it can also be done by peeling of lables of perfumes and such and attaching another label to it.

Would anyone be able to provide a blank old book cover, like a leather looking one, with or without the hogwarts crest?
