Allright, that's a pitty yes. anyway, there were so many people on the site so it was out of the air for about 9 hours. Only a few people came thru it.

I don't think I've ever been so disappointed in regards to something Harry Potter related. :cry I live on the east coast so I woke up at 7:30 (I was going to wake up earlier but I over slept) and checked and it was closedso not fair. now I have to wait until tomorrow.
Don't give up! They said they will release questions with different time everyday to keep it fair, so you better check it whenever you can!! :confused I still didn't get the validation email... sigh..

It took 2 hours... *hoping to get the welcome mail*!
Others: Don't be disappointed if you didn't get the mail: there are still 6 days left+each day the question gets easier!
If you get the validation mail, it doesn't mean you've got your place marked at the Pottermore website!==> ''A selection of the registered people will get the chance. to join Pottermore earlier'' --'

I'm so mad at pottermore today. Found out the clue came in around 3:00 in the morning not cool at all. I hope they do in the middle of the day from know on.
Gryffindor1991: I know what you fell like. Now it's going to be harder because the clues are going to get easyer, I think the easyer the clue the more and more people will get it.

The mail took 1 hour with me. Let´s hope on a welcome mail.
Since the 31th of July started in the UK the website has been down. Luckily I decided to just go to sleep and check in the morning, after about 2 minutes I got thru, than it was 49 x the breeds of the Owl and that behind the link and than you need to find the magic feather (it wasn´t visible every time you get this far). Luckily I saw it right away. Clicked and then waited for an hour for the validation mail. Now only the welcome mail left to go. Please be there.

Mmk, can we all just make a deal that if you figure out the answer to the clue, on any day, you just share it on this thread? It wouldn't be like competition for YOU to get in, by the time you figure it out you'll already have gotten in. Also, by the time I got to Pottermore today it was already closed, so what was the clue and what was the answer for today? Just out of curiosity?

Me again, three questions.
I want to decorate some rooms with a big hand pointer, you know the kind that appears in OWLs paper, proclamations and even the quibbler. Any idea where to find a big or clear picture of it? I will probably hand draw it as I'm not good at computer graphics but I will scan and share.
Second question, what kind of papers do you use? Do you aalways use normal printer paper (or A5/A3 if needed) or sometiems do you use special kinds of paper? I only have some coloursful cardstock, mostly kept from scrapbooks and such and also got nice textured sort of certificate type paper, which my sister got from work. Once they're used up, I don't know where to buy them again.
and lastly, I've saw the interest thread for Hermione's letters. They seem nice, but as an 18th year old unemployed student, they seem kind of expensive even if there are far more expensive things. I will actually try my hand at the one pictured. Since i got good eyesight (or I hope so) I recognized most of the text, apart from 2 words. If I post what I got so far, will someone be able to help? Then all I need is to try and fin an adequet font and type it. It will not be an exact replica as I'm totally a newbie in paper props. or maybe, someone else can try it as well if they have the text. It seems fairly easy fo most of you professionals. Hopefully, I won't offend the owner of the letters though.

Luke, from what I heard, the question was "How many species of owls were for sale at Eeylope's in the first book? and multiply it by 49." it was 5 species, times 49 so the answer was what ever that is. I was so mad when I over slept and missed it.

Yeah that's true. 5 times 49 is 245. But instead of looking up how many species/breeds I just filled the link with 49-98-147-196-245 and afther the last one I got in.

Ingridkyc, I think that there's something wrong because everybody got his emailregistration within one till two hours. But you can still hope for a few more hours, and otherwise get in there tomorrow.

I am officially ticked off. I waited up untill quarter to 3 last night on pottermore, then turned of my computer and went to bed. little did I know I should have waited about 20 minutes!!! ugghhhhhhhhhhhhh...

I don't want to sound like a pri ck here and I know everyone is excited about Pottermore but...this thread is really intended for paper props and such not lengthy discussions on Pottermore. Its already onto the 2nd page and I'm sure there will be many more pages as Pottermore rolls out.
Like I said, I'm not trying to dampen anything or be arrogant or an ass but Pottermore should probably have its own thread where Pottermore can be discussed at infinitum.
