Harry Potter free paper props - all movies and more!

@smoothrat, thanks very much for trying, but considering the everything else that team has made I wouldn't be surprised if it was more than one font mixed together, or if the letters were individually altered. I found something closeish, it's called calligraphica LX italic, but I was wondering, maybe you know of a solid version of this font, rather than the one with all the white spots peaking through.

@luke, good find on the calligraphica. I think you're right about the mixed fonts. Some of the other characters appear to come from fonts by the same designer (Arthur Baker), such as Pelican, Amigo, Marigold, Sassafras, etc.

Very close, although some may need to have the "white spots" filled in using a font editor.

Hope this helps.

Unfortunately, I can't read that.... If you can help me out and see if you, or others on the thread can figure that part out, I can start on it.

Luke, when are we doing our project?

@hinkypunk, i live near NYC so i plan on going in to see the HP exhibition in Time Square, maybe i can get some photos if they have it there.

No photos, but bring a notepad and write what ever you can! And could you do me a favor? Please jot down some notes about the arrangement of the text on the time turner and about the chain as well. THANKS.

@bfd, np family comes first, I think we may have found he fonts. But thanks for tryin :)

@hinky, did you get my PM? I was trying to do Gilderoy Lockhart's "Year With the Yet"
It turned out to be a complete horrible failure, but I told you the name of the font, as that's all the really useful info I had found. I believe it was something like "Engravers bold face" :/
So in other words, I gave up. But we've got a GREAT reference pic for the cover, a scan of the prop, it's just unfortunately low ppi.

@hinky, I email you a bunch of props. with the Rowene. If you can put them up on the front page, that would be great

I've started to figure out the text on the top of the box, but there are some words I can't get because they are faded/underneath the middle bit with "Bezoar". The sides will be very hard though because there are no decent pics of it to decipher the text.

@James, that would be great. Might be easier to get some of the text from it.

Does anyone know of a book called, "Phoenix Fire Lighters"?
I just came back from my trip to WWoHP and they had copies of it in Devrish & Banges. I took lots pictures of it but I don't know what movie its from...

Of course I would... if I could... I'm new to this so I'm lost when it comes to attachments:wacko Would someone mind explaining what to do, then I'd be happy to show!:lol

PLATFORM 9 3/4 HOGWARTS EXPRESS SIGN

I know its Bezoars this and Bezoars that right now but how 'bout an oldy but goody.

The image will print out full size on 11 x 17 ledger size paper. Or you can print it what ever size you darn well like.

I'm thinking it would look great printed out full size and glued to to a board and covered with varnish to create an "authentic" sign to hang.

I posted a hi-res image on the first page of this thread under BARNEYRFD'S STUFF - Miscellaneous.
