Han and Chewie pilot figures for MR Falcon - COMPLETE!

Hey guys,

Glad to hear they're arriving and that you like them.
Regarding the fit of Chewie into the seat - I think this is mainly due to his larger body which naturally makes him sit more forward (compared to Han's thinner body). I've also noticed that the control column / steering wheel seems to be in slightly different locations on some Falcons - this is obviously a variation in the way they were assembled originally. My own Chewie sits pretty far forward but I don't think it's too distracting.

If you really don't like it, the only thing I could suggest is "shaving" some of the resin off his back so that it reduces the width of his body and pushes him further back into the seat.

Chris

Actually I think that taking a little off his butt would do more... changing the anlge that he "sits" at if you know what I mean. BTW my figures are finished the painting process and sitting inthe cockpit of my Falcon. They look awesome! I'd post pics by my camera had dead bateries... When I get a new batch I'll post pics - they really are nice!

Mine still hasn't left the UK According to the tracking number.
This means it'll probly be in today's mail. :confused
Well now. I wasn't far off with that statement. Very nice! Thank you.
(And according to the tracking # they still haven't left the UK :lol)

Thank you Chris, you just gave life to our falcons. They were model replicas. Now they are ship replicas.

Caongrats to the sculptor/painter ! :love

I got my ESB painted figures ... awesome! Great sculpts Cyberman!

Chris, Thank you for commissioning the figures for ESB and for arranging for getting them painted!

Thanks for sharing your pics, soloyan. The figures looks great. :thumbsup

You've got Chewie sitting well back in his seat there. Did you do any special mods to achieve this fit? If so, please let us know what you did! :)

Well...I have to confess....I rub chewie's butt.

In fact, in my falcon, the problem was not that chewie was upfront but that the "stick" was behind solo's. There was very little space to sit chewie. So I rub his butt with a knife as I was afraid to break the stick.

Ah hah! I think that's the very same problem I have. When I try to fit Chewie into his seat, I can hear the stick making "I'm about to crack" sounds.

Thanks for sharing your secret of rubbing Chewie's butt with a knife. I think I'll give that a try. :thumbsup

Got mine today.........absolutely flawless!!!! Thanks for making this happen Chris!!!! Mine seem to fit in my falcon pretty well. I won't have to alter them at least. :)

If it is not too much trouble, change you post pics of the modification?

To be honest, there isn't much to show : it's the same average figure but the butt is white as the resin is white...Plus, it may differ from one falcon to another, so that might be not helpful at all.

My advice is : take it one step at a time, do it progressively and try to sit chewie between each step. When he's fit you're good to go !

Soloyan is correct, all the figures are gonna be identical.......the falcon is gonna be the variable as the assembly is different on everyone's falcon. No two falcons are alike in any way whatsoever.

I'm afraid there isn't a thread in the junkyard. Demand was high before I even had a chance to put them up in the junkyard so everything was handled by PM and emails.

We're not currently taking any more orders but may do a second batch in 4-6 weeks.

Thanks.

Chris

Okay I can't find the thread in the JY. Can someone link me?
