Hello, he told me today he has an appointment on Tuesday, and if he's cleared, he'll ne back in action. He's very ready to get back to life, though. The poor dude has been bored as heck. I'll report back if I end up going by today!

Nothing too concrete. I didn't end up going to see him on Saturday. He had a rough night sleeping so he ended up just passing out. I talked to him Sunday night and a little today. His follow-up appointment went well. I know he's eager to get back at it. The poor dude had been bored stiff lately

Injuries suck. I had my car accident almost a year ago to this date. November 26 , and I just got off comp last week. So I know first hand how bad he may feel not being able to do much. I was extremely limited

Without going into too much detail, as it isn't my place, a piece of machinery with a steel tube under extreme pressure let go and the steel tube hit him in the head.

Without wanting to be too nosey, I hope the time off work doesn't hit his wages too hard. I don't know how sick leave works in the US; in NZ we get 5 days of paid sick leave per year. My company gives 10 days and it accrues over time as well. I've accrued 77 days of sick leave available over 10 years! Like I say, I don't mean to be nosey - it's just that American labour laws sometimes seem a bit harsh to me.

Germany has up to 6 weeks. after that health insurance takes over (yes, that stuff is defined by law)
