Just a quick note on preparing the Orb.
Give the Orb a gentle wash in cold to luke warm water with a little soap just in case there is any residue from the mold release still on the Orb.
I did give them all a wash prior to posting them out, but I wouldn't want your paint job to be hampered by the mold release causing the paint to not take to the Orb.

Please post photos of your Orbs once you've painted them I look forward to seeing everyone's efforts.

Terribly sorry, I can't remember if I had committed to this or not..I was doing a ton of research, mostly in the middle of the night, and couldn't remember what I sent to whom regarding what.
Am I on this list?

I believe I have one left.

I am out of resin and would need to buy more, so this is the last Orb for this run.

If there are any others who would like an Orb please post and I will get a list together and cast them in small batches or maybe even individually based on when you have the money ready to Paypal.

Went with a 3 stage painting process. Black acrylic stippled into all the lower nooks and crannies, then sprayed with an automotive dark metallic charcoal, then Rub 'n Buff silver leaf on the high spots

Looks great! Just need to finish my electromagnet triangle stand

Hey all...Having seen the movie seven times, I just now finally had the thought that a device could, possibly, be placed inside this thing - set on some kind of a motion switch which would activate a sound file of the little whooshing electronic sound that happened every time Star Lord tossed it in the air. Hmmm.....(he said scratching his chin in a particularly evil fashion....) :devil
