So there is only one Graflex replica in the kit. Glad we got that cleared up.
And all parts are made of aluminium?

Are the Graflex bodies brushed lengthwise or around? The picture show both variants.

yes, aluminum, brushed the correct way, which ever way the original graflex is.. the photos are just CAD renderings.

Would somebody (Korbanth or otherwise) mind convincing me to get this over, say, a Parksabers Graflex with electronics prebuilt?

Parks is out of stock permanately on what he called the older Graflex replica flash handle, the place he was getting them made, went out of business. This why he is making the Graflex 2.0 - which is built more like a saber instead of a graflex flash handle. I am securing a large number of these, and my order will get served first, and I'll be lower in price than his stock, so lower price, faster delivery... I think those are two good convincing reasons.

he will be $275-$325 with electronics prebuilt using the phase blade technology and no sound boards...there was a time when these were top of the saber food chain, but with less expensive loud powerful sound boards and luxeon super brite lighting, they have surpassed phase technology...so until parks gets out of the stone age, and into the more current technology all the other saber makers are using, his product is best purchased empty...

update - I've been able to extend the run from 100 units to 125 -

99 units so far between the RPF and Fx-Sabers forum, have been reserved, so now 26 units are still available to preorder

These units are made to be lightsabers, they will accept electronics for super bright light up ability, a removable blade, sound boards, heavy duty 7/8 inch blade holder for dueling, sound vents to make them loud, brushed aluminum look just like the vintage flash holder, so I realize many might have one...any Star Wars fan probably got one of these 10-15 years ago, and probably don't need another, but this is Graflex 2.0 project...its improved, better and now you need the EP7 version in your collection...and are you kidding me? $195 is all you have to pay? go look at ebay, they are already up $275-$500 price range...so I am not trying to charge a lot, this is a fantastic deal, these will ship to you in October...

bump.....still 25 Graflex 2.0 sabers still available to secure one - $195 each - and with 1 paid saber kit, you can make your choice of ANH, ESB or TFA version of graflex - fully able to take electronics and sound boards and blades to make it a fully working light up unit. If you cant do the install yourself, I have people who can for a price that is reasonable.
