That is unacceptable. No way that happened other than before QC should have caught it. The fact that all we have heard are bad things. Having no helmets show up in promised condition is quite upsetting indeed. Looks like every helmet is in some way messed up, and not just the scratch on the dome. JediCarl does yours have the scuff on the dome?
MR must have a blind guy working the QC over there.

No not blind, just some-one in India/China making 50c a day.Given a extra 5c to be a QC watching over a conveyor belt, given the instructions that if the helmets aren't hideously deformed rubber stamp them as passed. :lol

I'm happy to report that mine is NOT going back.
YES, it did have some scuffing on the top but because I'd been "forewarned and forearmed" with some mightily lowered expectations, I went in prepared.
Of course, telling y'all it looks fantastic is one thing, huh?

One last "money shot"...
This thing is GORGEOUS.. Pukes all over the "fan-made replicas". :lol
One of the coolest things is mounting the dome. There's a big magnet up there that holds it in place. Once you get the dome close to it, it just goes *FOOMP* and it's on and quite secure.
Now, I know the next question on everybody's mind:
"C'mon, man... did you try wearing it yet??"

Well, I tried sticking my face in the faceplate, at least. :lol
I'll say this....
If this helmet was produced exactly as Hayden wore it, well, that dude has got a skinny-ass face. :lol
I've got an average-sized melon but, between the padding on the sides and the cone up top that dug into my bald head, I was not going to get that thing on my head without much "screaming, wailing and gnashing of teeth". :lol :lol :lol
So, to summarize:

-Scuffing fixable.
-Gorgeous.
-BEYOND gorgeous.
-Happy.
-NOT going back.
