Glitch from Reboot (Progress Pics up) WIP (Need more ref pics)

I'm about to do the next to last mud pour on the body, then it's just sanding and painting and that's done. Then it's time for the cog.

Reboot DVD: TV Show on DVD from TVAddicts

This was the first I found but also the cheapest....however buyer beware...the shipping costs like $40 and it still takes 2-4 weeks to get. :confused

So I have no idea what the quality will be like but I've seen these offered on other sites as well but they cost quite a bit more than on this one (but shipping might be less so maybe it evens itself out but who knows). Ya certainly not licensed but anyway...

I'm just hoping it is better quality than my VHS recordings of the original Seasons 1 & 2 and then I'll be happy.

Plus downloading from Torrent always takes so long, so what the heck I'll try it...

I have most if not all the episodes, I'll flip through some tomorrow and grab some shots. If there is anything specific you want from a specific episode LMK.

Yea, I got all 4 seasons from bittorrent, but I can't remember where they are. I might not even have them anymore. let us know about the quality of those, I'd like to watch the show again.

I discovered a problem with the whole pepakura process today. I sanded all the sides of Glitch flat, and that wore through sections of the paper, which made them pill up and become really rough, which I couldn't sand out. So then after I was tired and pissed off from all the sanding I went inside and washed off the dust. And off peeled almost all of the paper, leaving the surface extremely pitted and uneven. So it looks like I'll need to build up the outside now with some bondo or glazing putty and then put a coat of resin over the top. I'm fed up with it for now, so I'll wait until tomorrow.

Hey, I've got to ask, because I'm kinda confused. What is the double circle for? Is it the inside of the cog? I know there is one for the outer cog. The other is the downward slope and "face" of the cog, yes?

Thanks SithLord, and to DemonFire thanks, any screenshots of glitch are welcome.

As for Risu, you know I told you that you would hate little peps, the way to avoid that would be to use alot or resin, and maybe even a little fiber glass on the outside before sanding.

Yea, I should have done a second resin coat on the outside, but I was worried it would mess up the shape of the bevels. I'll jump right back in tomorrow morning. Today I have to replace the radiator in my car, because it loves me enough to crack in half 5 days after I got it back from the shop.

I got the pocket watch lens from ebay today and it's perfect. The right size and fairly flat for a pocket watch. And it's made of glass, which looks a heck of a lot nicer than plastic. While picking up some antifreeze at walmart I also grabbed a watch with a fairly cool looking display that I'm about to take apart for the electronics. Here's hoping they're workable.

SL, I hope that turns out well for you. I'm gonna have to go see if I have them on DVD in my stoarge unit..I know I bought ReBoot awhile back, buit I don't remember where I put them...keep us posted.

I will, and I'll post pictures, I may be resining my Glitch today and going to homedepo, depends on if it storms again since it looks bad out.

I've been on a laziness kick the last few days and haven't worked on Glitch at all. I think I'll pep the cog tonight though. I'm going to try for the cleanest pep I can get and then VERY lightly resin the outside, fill the inside, and then mold it without any sanding. Then I'll do one resin pull from that mold and work with that to fix all the little details and remold. I go back to work on Tuesday though and I have a month's worth of orders to catch up on, so the molding will probably have to wait a week or so.
