Firefly/Serenity

Yellowjacket especially and everyone else sharing their efforts here, thank you. It's really amazing work and a nice way to keep the 'Verse alive for many of us fans. These props are just amazing in the level of detail. Can tell that it's a real labor of love.

Even if it does not appear in the series, is there someone who has already imagined a wallet for Mal.
With all these paper props, I do not know where to put them.

There is the ship's papers wallet from 'Safe', but I assume that you mean a standard billfold, hip wallet. Am I right? If so, yes, we've talked about it and imagined in, but I have yet to see one made.

Beautiful work on the currency and the other items.

Thanks for sharing you work with us.

Thank you.

Some amazing props have crossed the desks of Laubi, Punctated, CmdrKerner, PhoenixVader, Sith Sheriff Brody, Starfighter66, Keelhauler, Nexus6, Namebrand, Ulldarborealis, Beesa-Pesal, Whitefall, Oathin, Harbinger, Pennusamike, etc. over the years. We're lucky to have so many artisans focusing on the expansion of the 'Verse.

Well when I'm in the verse I like to carry my credits, and such, in this...

Actually I also printed out dozens of the regular firefly bills (the kind you see in the companion books.) and laid them out randomly on the shelves were I display my firefly stuff. Kind of like a really "loud" shelf lining.

A very nice wallet. I think everyone should make a wallet suited to their personality. And in the interest of stuffing those wallets...

...I found this lovely bill from Cambodia and just had to alter it as a post-war transitional bill. This would have seen use primarily on the Border of the Verse and would have replaced much of the mixed currency in circulation at the time. Especially military vouchers and pre-war bills.

Hi,

Maybe you can correct "BANQUE DU ALLIANCE" by "BANQUE DE L' ALLIANCE".
This is the correct french quote.

I've been out of work for months now, so no. I'd have more of these if I wasn't trying to do so many other things and Can't Stop the Serenity is a full time job in itself.

Thank you. And now to unveil a collaborative effort with J. Chris Bourdier. I give you The Verse In Numbers 2.0...

http://pics.fireflyprops.net/TVIN-2.0.pdf

And the companion piece, The ARC of the Verse 2.0...

http://pics.fireflyprops.net/PACE-ARC-2.0.pdf

The new TVIN and ARC include many fan contributions, including Lagrangian objects, asteroids, dwarf planets, new worlds, communication facilities, space stations, etc. Chris has also added wonderful information to each star, planet and moon, such as escape velocities, hill spheres, roche limits, etc.

@Yellowjacket: Absolutely incredible!! The amount of work you and J. Chris put into these creations looks staggering! 355 + 14 pages :eek ...amazing!!

Great pieces, well done and thanks for sharing.(y)thumbsup:thumbsup

Thank you. Chris had to crunch a lot of numbers, and the asteroid names and regions were still coming in just a few days back, so we kept adding to it. We're very happy about how it turned out.

I have a favorite asteroid. :thumbsup

Yeah...? Which one?

But seriously, it sounded like a good name for an asteroid.

And now, back to Ransom! I've been working on Ransom off and…well…mostly off. See here: fireflyprops.net • View topic - The Ransom Project

The town is built from some 60+ photos of building and structures from Richmond Utah to the Sudan to Japan. Should be done with the map this week, but I added a lot of numbers, so I'm looking for a few more names for shops, homes, etc. Here's an example of the overall survey map and a detail.
