Thats lame though ^ thats not fair to the fans.
I wonder if there workers are pulling one over on customers like the Apple store does ripping people off.

I caught an apple store employee selling me a damaged out of state phone they swapped theres with my new one and they stole my insurance.
After I reported them I dug deeper and saw how they scalped customer products and store products and put them on ebay without the Apple company or store knowing.
They were litterally pocketing peoples stuff and profiting off of damaged goods.

Concerning this rumor about Brad purchasing multiple gold 523's prior to the movie for use in the film . . .

"If I look through our archived files for the Fight Club film I see only silver OP 523 listed no gold."

I asked her - What exactly is your relationship with ebay seller itisalwayssunny? How is he connected to OP? AJ said you have been selling him frames exclusively for years and he is adding a $400-500 mark-up and reselling them on ebay. Is this true? Why not just officially re-release to the public at a reasonable $300-400 price so everyone can have fair access?

So she denied having said that over the phone regarding the gold frames? She said Brad purchased some and that the director or costume designer went against his choice.

To be fair regarding itsalwayssunny, she probably knows him by his real name. Which I don't think it is fair if I post his real name on here.

I know she does though because the boxes he has sent me have come from Oliver Peoples with Kandi Olive listed as the sender and his address and name as delivered address.

Still, doesn't seem like anyone over at OP really knows what's what. And that kind of makes sense. They aren't the die hard fans we are and the FC shades are just a very tiny portion of their whole business.

I wouldn't take anything anyone over at OP says as fact. Even if they were around during the films release. Hell, even Kaplan himself can't remember how many jackets there were. He has gone on record saying there were as many as 12 in one interview, and then only 6 in another. We've also heard only 2 from JAL.

I guess it doesn't matter. The point is. If you like these shades, buy em for the style and wear the **** out of em, because they have no real intrinsic value.

Ok guys here are the two reds compared to each other. As you can see the color difference is minimal of the "screen red" vs "kinison" red. I call it screen red because that is what it is described as. I am not sure which one is correct.

Ok the sunglasses with the leg going over the car is the "screen red" the sunglasses that dont are the kinison red. As you can see on the face it looks nearly identical. The image with my face where if you look at the fan you can see the sprinkler in case of fire, that is Kinison Red. The image where the fan is blocking the sprinkler is the "screen red"

There is definitely a difference between the two when worn. The kinison red is harder on the eyes while I feel the other red is a bit softer. The Kinison red (Which isn't captured well in the picture) does show more eye detail while the screen darkens the eyes a little more.

Nice image Soulnertia. That does capture the difference. As for Kandi giving an explanation, I have not spoken to her since the last post I made when we talked. I really wish X-Mart would share a photo of his screen used 523's because that could tell us a lot. However, I have the feeling he does not wish to share it.

I think that having xmart show his frames is the best thing. Maybe smirking revenge can ask him if he can do it one day. Soul. I think Rupert mentioned that among all his pieces from the film, he has an 523. Let's hope that's true

Thy also mentioned the last original frame sold about a month ago. It's safe to say we probably know more about the frame then the people at op. They also never heard of the color I had made which they called coral

I think they look awesome. I just think and they may only be me and my crazy eye, but the color is so intense so deep. Maybe it was the filtering in the movie or the lighting but the lenses in the film looked more subdued. Softer red. They look so much like the coral color I had. A more neutral dull red.
