Now that's what I call detail. Lol. Look at all the cracks in that leather. I knew it would be cracked. So there you go guys. That's what your jacket has to look like to be screen accurate.

The jacket has many cracks.
What are the sport pants?

No there are definitely no cracks. Just folds but nothing is cracked or folded over.

I did make an interesting discovery which I will share regarding the shoulders. I gotta take pics of my jackets first though

Our definitions of cracks are different. When I said cracks, I meant like actual pieces of the leather coming apart such as a crack in the concrete where it is a seperation.

I would have considered that wrinkles or folds but I coukd see where you would call that cracks also.

Yea. I call that cracks. That's what I meant. I consider wrinkles very very fine, which most leather has from the get-go. Lol the jacket's texture is rough as hell

Yes definitely agree with you. Although I wonder how it looked in 1998 compared to now. The head of the exhibit said the jacket was stiff as a board and it actually cracked when moved. So I wonder what wasn't present back then?

Well I have been working on the painting aspect with JAL. The first thing we do is shoe polish which adds a little brown. Then I will be adding the paint. Its gonna take a while because first I have to do it on samples and such. The actual painting of the jacket in 1998 was done with a sponge too so I am replicating all of that.

The distressing is something difficult though. JAL has some ideas on what they did and he does have some distressed Mayhem Jackets which look sweet.

So logan didn't do the distressing? Kaplan did it? That's cool Aj. Good luck. I hope it comes out good

Here it is, the spy cam footage. Not the best quality, sorry. It's pretty dark in there and hard to get a good shot. If you can make it down in the next week before the exhibit closes, I highly recommend it!

Shot with these:

About half way through the vid it gets real shaky. A couple old ladies must have picked up on how intently I was staring at the wardrobe pieces and one of them asked me "Are you a costume designer?" lol. They started asking me questions about the film. Neither had ever seen it. Apparently they "don't like violence". I told them there was much more to the story than that and they should give it a shot.

I got a couple more vids of the Indiana Jones Raiders costume and Vader for those interested. I also shot some with my phone which is a little better quality. I'll upload that one later.

Absolutely brilliant soul and I'd love to see the Raiders footage. I also had a very interesting Fight Club day today. It's late now and I'm going to bed but will post about it tomorrow. But needless to say, you won't be disappointed with what I did/saw/discovered.
