Fettster's 1:1 Harvey Dent/Two Face HUGE Update pg.3

fantastic work
I think this will now raise the bar with paint jobs when it comes to life like skin tones done on resin busts. it really is very lifelike mate and the stubble is something else. The amount of detail in the eyebrow is mad, I honestly thought is was hair until the close up pictures further down
loving that bone above the left eye :)

I gotta say if you put it up as a silicone bust like the rest of your work I'd have believed it ( apart from the painted eyebrow lol) really has set a standard for resin busts and painters I think

congrats to Haywire for comissioning an awsome peice of work and big well done to Rich for making it as good as it can get in resin ;)

will these be available ?

I can't see a problem with the hair. It's a great sculpt, really well executed and a fab paint job . nice to see a decent Harvey bust.

My only critique is the hair seems way off and too dark.

WAY OFF :confused

I don't want to go off topic here mate but you can't be too picky when it comes to hair after the terminator wig you did :behave

the hair can be styled differently if the customer wants , so very easy fix but I think the match is pretty bloody good considering it's a cut up wig

be very differnt if Rich was punching the hair like he does on his silicone busts.

So Suckface, you can critique my work but when I critique someone else's , not even yours, you get defensive? It's just constructive criticism. RELAX PAL! the hair doesn't look right to me and it's the wrong color. It should be lighter. You act as if you created this bust. You didn't so don't get so offended.

PLEASE don't take this the wrong way, as I believe the current piece is absolutely fantastic - but here's a shopped image of lighter hair...

Mercury, your edited picture is actually a truer representation of the shade of blond that the wig actually is so nothing to take the wrong way at all mate.

The hair is acrylic so it's very hard to photograph with artificial light due to how shiney it is so it looks darker than it is. also aron eckhart had highlights which I cannot replicate with acrylic hair so it's an educated decision to go with the darker shades that were present as acrylic light blond hair always looks brassy and fake.

Main thing is Ryan knows and understands this and as it's his money, it's his critique I'd listen too.

Thank you everyone for all the great comments!

The sculpting, paint, hair & finishing work are all top notch.

The best Aaron Eckhart likeness ever done for sure.:love

Thanks for all the comments. In regards to the hair, I think its pretty bang on. Yes it can be slightly styled a bit or something, but if you look at the first pic and the second pic, you can see the shine of the hair and its colour. Again, thanks to everyone for taking their time to comment. As DarthWhitey said "is this resin?". I had to ask myself the same question and thought I"d have to write Rich about this again, as I thought he actually made me a silcone verison instead because I'm such a nice guy..lol. All kidding aside, the level of detail makes this looks like silcone. A paint job can make or break a piece, and I think the argument from now on will be whether Rich's true strength is his sculpting ability or his painting. This bust has exceeded my already high expectation.

Holy ****! I would have bet the farm that it was a silicone bust...stunned :O.

Amazing work...floored by the skin tones, just insane job...well done Richard!

Beautiful job!:thumbsup And he even has the right amount of crisp :)

I'm definitely a fan of your work and always look foward to your next project.
