Factory Entertainment MIB 2 Neuralyzer

Hi I'm new to rpf but I was sent here by the factory ent Facebook page. I was an idiot and ordered my nuralyzer from comics infinity instead of from the source, and as of right now I haven't heard back from comics infinity. Do you guys think it's just late shipping or should I try to cancel the order and buy a new one from factory entertainment?
 
Hi Everybody, we wanted to give everybody a quick update on the Neuralyzer .

The products arrived in the US on May 15th but have been stuck in US customs ever since. We import a lot of products and typically Customs only takes between 48 and 72 hours to release containers. However we have been advised that they are currently on an increased alert status and are X-Raying and subjecting more containers to full examination. This is causing delays beyond anyone's control. There is sadly no way to speed up the customs process.

Rest assured that we are talking to our forwarder multiple times a day for updates and luckily because our warehouse is close to the port we will take possession of the products the same day they are released by customs. We will then start shipping out immediately with priority going to customers who have ordered Factory Direct.

There is no cause for concern, the customs delays are nothing to do with the Neuralyzers themselves, simply a general delay in the overall process. We agree it still sucks though as we moved heaven and earth to ensure they arrived prior to the release of MIB3.... best laid plans!!!

You may have missed this post by FE, hey it's all good and they are on there way :), mine must be the last one been taken out of the shipping container. :cry:cry
 
I'm based in Australia. I assume that with a tracking number, this will arrive before September. I couldn't see why different countries would have to wait different times to recieve them. Did they send you an email saying it was shipped?

I was obliged to order mine from my friend's store which is based in Tokyo. He seems to think it will arrive here in September.

Anyone else in the same boat ordering from a third party vendor? Could he be wrong and it arrives sooner?
 
I am in the same place. Apparently there was a problem in customs with the shipment of neuralyzers so they must be slow going out. I would guess that this means that it will be a while before they ship out to third party vendors. As for getting it shipped in September, that seems a bit late.

I'd love to know if that date of September was simply the original date given out for shipment as all of the third party vendors over here are quoting that month in their listings.

Well as far as I know.. the original ad said they were shipping out in May.. they were just held back due to issues you can read about in this thread.

I'm still waiting on my shipping confirmation... I can't wait >_>

Yeah, I find it hard to believe that they'd be randomly shipping overseras orders 3 months later. Every other replica I ordered arrived in Japan a couple weeks later. I don't know how the listings info is given out to overseas vendors so there may be a discrepency in the solicitations that were given to those stores.

Hmm who knows.. I know I've seen other resellers advertise shipping in May.. Maybe some of them haven't kept up with the updates or maybe they just decided to add on some time to be on the safe side.. This is exactly why I ordered straight from FE instead of saving 30 bucks or so from resellers... I did consider it though.. but I'm impatient. lol.
 
When I ordered from comics infinity they said it would ship out in the 3rd quarter, which to me seems like it would be September. It is kinda odd that they would wait 3 months just to send it out. Maybe once FE ships out to all the 3rd party vendors they will change the dates they have posted.
 
I sent off an email to comics infinity, so hopefully I will hear back and get this 3rd party vendor mess sorted out.
 
Yep. I just emailed FE to see what they had to say.
I'm sure everyone will get their neuro's.. the problem is when ordering from a third party vendor is you have to wait till they get it, then you have to wait again for them to ship it to you...
I bet a million bucks that FE will ship to the customers who bought directly from them first and then ship to the "third Party" last.. Think about it, FE has to sell these neuro's at more of a wholesale price so the third party vendors can make their profit.. But if FE is selling more neuro's than they thought from their own site for full price, then they will take care of those orders first. What ever is left over and not selling, would go to the third party vendor so they could move em... IMO seems like the only real smart move business wise. I could be very wrong tho..
If they guaranteed units to certain third party vendors then that's a different story.. but lets face it, 1500 units world wide isn't exactly alot, I expect these to sell out faster than the master replica's units did because the MIB franchise is more popular now than it was then.
BUT anything is possible. I placed my order the same day the pre order became available to the public on FE web site.. I can only assume that is why my order has already shipped.

"We haven’t gotten any updates from our supplier about a change in the arrival date, but it’s entirely possible that it could be coming to us sooner if the manufacturer says they are sending them out now. We’ll get youre preorder processed as soon as it arrives, and we’ll keep you posted."

That to me means they are unaware that FE has shipped which may mean that the September date for the third party vendors is correct, which wouldn't be good.

FE posted that the may ship date was for direct orders. The alotment shipping now was a limited number reserved for pre-orders from the FE website. All other orders will be shipped probably when the vendors say they will.
 
Hi Everybody hopefully we can clear up any confusion and answer a few questions.

Direct orders (through our website) receive priority and ship first.Its one of the benefits of shipping Factory Direct and we strive to be as fast as possible in most cases as one of our team is unloading a container another is already labeling and packing direct orders.

The Neuralyzers are in stock and shipping. We don't ship until an order is charged and paid for. If we are unable to process your payment for any reason we will reserve your product and contact you. When there is a time delay between a pre-order and actual charging some banks and card providers can decline transactions as a security feature to protect you. Also cards that have expired can cause slight delays. Again we will contact you if this happens. The vast majority of direct orders have already shipped. If you have any concerns at all with your direct order give us a call or email us and we will gladly answer any questions.

When direct orders are fulfilled we then start shipping to wholesale accounts and 3rd party vendors and we have already begun this process. Orders are shipped in the order they were received and according to our terms with each vendor/customer. (payment terms , shipping arrangements etc.) For non-US based customers it can take a while for goods to arrive at their location, , depending on the shipping method they elect to use to get the goods from our Concord CA warehouse to their location. Sea freight is slower than airfreight for example. In addition some vendors buy through distributors and buying groups so product has to ship from us to the distributor and then on to the distributors customer, adding more time to the process.

We have a policy of not offering any items for pre-sale until final Q.A testing has been completed and goods are either in transit or actually in our warehouse. We also always try to be honest and realistic with any dates we give. Unfortunately this industry is rife and lots of other manufacturers who throw out wildly optimistic/unrealistic dates, and/or regular delays . This means that most wholesale customers are sensibly cautious with dates and will typically pad out any date they are given. Its just smart business, better to exceed an expectation than break a promise. We gave an avail date of Q3 to wholesale customers and we are meeting that date, which is probably a refreshing surprise for many. Experiance has trained most people to expect that to mean the very last day of Q3 not the first week. Sorry guys. :facepalm

We have noticed some retailers showing a September or later avail date, it seems a little cautious to us, but we do not control what 3rd party vendors do or how they ship their goods so its hard to say with authority.

If speed is an issue for you we always urge you to order Factory Direct.

If you are concerned about a 3rd party order we would urge you to contact them, and ask them to to contact us for updates. In some cases vendors may be operating on outdated info.

I think that very much covers it nicely, how about we take a step back and let FE breath a bit ....... I do think I will be one of the delays, as my card may expire before you get a chance to charge it. I think the date ends this month.... nope it's ok :facepalm don't mined me :unsure not with it today, my new CNC showed up yesterday and still setting it up, got to much going on in my head.

Just got a call confirming my info. Turns out if the original order went as planned, it would have shipped to Maine. UNACCEPTABLE! I live in NC now! Must change statistics.

Thankfully the awesome person on the phone mentioned it was going to ship to Maine which is something that I wouldn't have even said were I in his shoes. Thanks again for reminding me!
