Factory Entertainment MIB 2 Neuralyzer

I ordered a product from Germany and it has been stuck in customs for literally a week with no end in sight.

So I an personally attest to the situation.

GREAT NEWS!

We just received confirmation from the port that the Neuralyzer container have finally been released by customs and are now making their way to our warehouse.

Look to your inbox's for order and shipping confirmations on Monday.

We also just received an update from our factory on the J-Gun... (oops the cats out of the bag officially.) Yes we are making an Agent Sidearm replica or J2 Gun as its often called. The prototype is on its way to us for comments and as soon as we get it and examine it we will post some pics. Its cast directly from the original prop and will be all metal construction with sound and light features, basically 'the works' . It will be out Q4 2012.

It will be followed in early 2013 by The Noisy Cricket...and then, well thats enough news for now.

can't wait! congrats on passing customs. sometimes when i send/receive things its like a small victory getting through from customs. lol PHEW can't wait for the J2 pics!!!

Thank you for the update! I was curious about that since a group of us dressed as MiBs for the first showing. Had to go with my old Universal Studios ride toy, but it was fun.

Which J2 are guys doing? The MIB or MIB 2?

I'm gonna be all MIB-ed out come the end of the year. :D

So its going to be cast metal with lights and sounds.. AKA a functional paper weight. Just what i have always wanted :unsure The original was a foundry cast aluminum body with machined parts to finish it off, however i highly doubt this will stand in comparison to its screen used counterpart.

You should have stopped at paper. I've heard many good things about the original Master Replicas MIB 2 Neuralyzer, some saying it's their favorite replica in their collection. Since this lovely rendition will be made with much more durable components including easier to use interactive features, I don't think it will pale in comparison.

Also, the neuralyzer is in the shape of a tube. Tubes make for poor paper weights.

What's with the hate? You could say anything was a paperweight if you wanted to poopoo on it.

I have one of MR's Neuralyzers and its only flaw that I had a problem with is an internal main part in the spring mechanism made out of what looks like nylon. Its the main part that slides up and down and engages the upper body with a locking twist. Mines worn and turns with the upper body when you try to lock it together after changing the battery. Which makes it a pain to reassemble correctly so mines been sitting till I can find someone to make me a duplicate part out of brass or aluminum.
Another problem with the MR is while off and just sitting there on display, the battery still drains off fast.

I hope they've improved these 2 problems

I posted some pics of the part in question..the red arrows point to a "key" that slides inside a channel that runs along the inside of the body...theres 2 of these offset approx 60 degrees of each other.

Hi,

Yes this is one internal part that has been redesigned. Both to prevent wear and to make assembling the unit a little easier. We used a totally new material and redesigned the locking mechanisms and tracks.

The neuralyzer features a power off function to reduce battery drain when not in use. But you should always remove the battery when displaying for extended periods of time, as with any electronic device there will be a small battery drain when a battery is left attached to terminals, it also protects against leakage.

Hope that helps

Just got my shipping confirmation. FedEx has yet to process a delivery date, but it's in the system!

Just got mine too! My email shows as shipped so I'm sure it went out today..

Take a few hours for tracking to appear on the web..

I would hope to get it by Friday. Ground FedEx doesn't take that long
