Nice progress shot. Great cohesive colouring of the face so far, I really like the tiger stripe pattern on the eyebrows. Nice to see a natural fleshy tone for the mouth as well, not too pink.

Can't wait to see those colours pop on the domed head!

Excellent work!

Great! starting my P1 mask soon hopefully. How are you finding the FW inks? are you priming the latex first??

Thx buddy

I've found a company here in Sweden that offers Fw inks and they are great to paint with.

I've been back and fourth whether to go the Rubber ink route, but everybody is selling the Pros aide method. So is it just one layer of pros aide and that's it? Does it remain tacky throughout the paint job?

I just went with one layer on this and yes prosaide is a bit tacky but when u get your colours on it stops beeing tacky. Trust me better to have a tacky start then a crackling finish :)

So my question is do you have to keep applying Pros aide to keep it tacky? I've seen experienced people on here in the past few weeks say that Paint will rub and crack regardless of priming with Pros aide then someone else dispute this. Why is Pros aide even necessary, is it not the job of Liquitex/Permawet to stop it cracking? Conflicting methods are confusing when your learning like me. I'm totally capable of painting, it's the method, I've never painted latex before.

It's the reason I wanted to go the rubber ink route, but rubber inks are really hard to acquire in the UK (no idea why) and of course there is the toxicity.

I've always used one layer of prosaid then the colours then finish it of with a couple of layers permawet and then I get no craks just make sure to wash the latex good before starting with prosaid
