I think this is as close as we can get. I'll do one final tweak to the colors for the production run, but I'm happy with the pattern.

Is there anyway to get the floss embroidery done like what was mention a while ago so it can have the soft, shiny, thready look like the original?

GAP do some Henleys that are extremely close to the vintage ones used. at least, in the UK they do not sure about other countries.

Do Levi's not have a Levi's shop near you? I know that they franchise alot of outlets so you'll probably find one.

I still have faith that when we see the whole Indy jacket, it's going to blow us away. And the arms might not be as baggy!

The Levi shop near me just closed. Good thing I already got what I needed from them!

Having watched the film over 20 times now, I have noticed that the jacket isn't really very fitting on him. It is actually a little bulky- like armor or a bullet-proof vest.

I actually am having a pair made from a buddy on the cheap. We'll see how they turn out. If not up to par then I'll order to screen accurate pair.

No response from Steady yet on my exchange for the damaged jacket.

The scorpion looks pretty good. Colors might need some more adjusting, but this thing is so hard to take pictures of, it always looks so different in person. The only thing that still bothers me is the extreme contrast in the body.

The only thing I can think of to change is the stitch length so it appears more textured, but I am no expert in this area so I wouldn't know how to get this look. Anyone try to ask Richard Lim about his technique? Kind of a long shot maybe I know but we all want that "thready" look.

I think embroidery turned out pretty cool. It will
much better with diamond pattern on top of it.
Can't wait to see black version with grayish scorpion.

What are you worried about?

It's nothing major but all I have to compare Magnoli's scorpion is the Steady and screen used jacket. Magnoli's scorpion is missing a couple of the darker areas. The scorpion's right arm/hand would be one of the few differences. Again, it's nothing to go crazy about. It could be the lighting.

Yeah, there are a couple things with the design, tiny things. I am looking at the overall quality though. I expect Magnoli's jacket will last a lifetime.

I can see it now, 70 years old, still rocking the Scorpion jacket from drive.

I picked up my XXL today, it fits amazingly, especially with a thin jacket or sweater in between. It's perfect, I'll post new pictures soon.

I second this. Hope the shades are less brown than they appear. The screen version appears to be different shades of gold.

I'm from germany and I'm also a great fan of the movie "Drive" and of COURSE of the driver jacket.

Well I want to order a jacket and found the one from GoGetRetro. Did anyone from here get his jacket from GoGetRetro? And if so, are you satisfied with it?

Unfortunatelly they do not offer a version for women! :lol
the same with the gloves... :love it's very complicated to find matching gloves in such a small size.
so I think I have to order an XS version of the jacket and maybe have to to some work on it to make it a little bit smaller.

Would be great if someone could tell me where I can order a really good replica.

I've thought about getting a custom jacket. Something dark in color and going with a Maltese Cross embroidered on the back being a firefighter and all.
