DRIVE (2011) Scorpion Satin Jacket

Hey guys, I got in on the third run orders right, which were supposed to ship fairly soon. Thing is I don't have the revised sizing charts, so I don't know if I need to revise the jacket size. I ordered L and I am 6'2" on the dot and weigh 80 kg or 190 lbs or something like that, anyone offer some advice? No not you benhs1898, I will not ak for a refund and wait to buy magnoli's jacket.

Ok??? I wouldn't have told you to do that, no need for attitude. I was simply answering Mr. Ward's questions and giving him a recommendation. The Steady jacket appears to be alright, and people who bought them should keep them. People on the fence may want to consider waiting to see what Magnoli comes up with.

I'm 6'1" and 170 lbs, tall and fairly thin. I ordered a medium, got it, and felt it was just a bit too short / tight. I sent it back for a Large last week, we'll see. I normally wear a medium in things. Hope that helps.

I totally agree! I'm definitely holding out as long as it takes for the Magnoli jacket to be ready before purchasing the Steady jacket. The only reason I'm doing this is because I want the best and most accurate jacket possible and I believe Magnoli can deliver! :)
 
so many people are banking on indy now that i worry for him; what pressure. we've proven ourselves to be a determined group and i fear that fists may fly if he doesn't deliver. :lol

Thanks very much for advices, I emailed Cathy from Get Go Retro and she told me to choose the M size because the jackets are running small.
I will send some pics, in February....booouuuuhhh !
 
I am 5`8" and my weight is around 135-140 lbs. I ordered a medium a long time ago. I normally wear S, but i thought it would be safer to order one size bigger. So i received my jacket today and I have to say that I wouldn´t want my jacket to be any smaller because it would be too small then. I just wanted to tell you this because i think that a lot of people are thinking about ordering a Medium, which fits me like a S, and I am quite skinny.

Thanks for the info. How tight does it fit you? Are you able to move your arms freely? Any additional info on this would be greatly appreciated.

It is quite tight, but i have enough space to move my arms without getting problems. The length of the jacket is much shorter than I thought it would be. I have to say that I am 17 years old and that I am probably still growing a little bit. If u want to, I can take some pictures. That would probably help you...
 
Gloves look awesome. Mine just went out today. What size did you get and what was your hand measurement? I am wondering because the gloves Gosling wears in the film are very tight, I was hoping that an 8 glove would be tight on an 8 hand.

I have a 8 too. If you measured your hand and you get a 8, your 8 will be very, very tight. Nevertheless it will look awesome! :)
 
Could I bother you for a couple pictures of just the gloves? Also, did you get Dorothy to sign them? I got her to sign them and write "drive" on the tag.

So you think if I measure my hand, I should go a half a size up if I don't want them too tight?
 
Yep, but tight is the way to go with driving gloves. The soft leather will stretch to your hand. The tight look is where the cool is.
