DRIVE (2011) Scorpion Satin Jacket

I still can't decide if i want to get it or try and find one without the scorpion! I definitely want to wear the jacket every day. But as someone on here said, the scorpion would be a little "over the top" for conventional use, as much as i LOVE the thing. Darn the annoying "social dilemma" we all face. :angry ...unless someone could help convince me otherwise

Get the one with the scorpion! That is what makes the jacket in my opinion and ties it to the character/movie. It gives a very plain jacket "character". Most people wont even look twice at the scorpion design on the back, let alone judge you from it. That said I placed my order with Steady and will rock that scorpion everywhere I go.:lol
 
I will pre-order the Steady jacket in a Medium. If I am not thrilled with the look/fit, I will sell it on ebay and order Magnoli's "custom" jacket. I'm sure by selling on ebay you could at least get your money back.
 
it's not a matter of being awkwardly sized, really. it's just i know this jacket is a men's jacket, and i'm just curious as to know the measurements. i'm tiny in comparison, so extra small would usually make sense. but, i also have lady parts, so maybe it's a small.

Went with the large. I was worried that the medium would have too short of arm length for me and almost all my other jackets are large. Steady's return policy looks top notch so I don't think it would be a big deal if didn't fit you the way you liked. I say just order the size jacket you wear already. Chances are they will run a bit small anyway.

Can I ask you how tall you are and how much you weigh? I'm 6'1 around 180lb and I'm thinking large as well but I'm not sure if Large won't be too big on me. Some of the jackets are just huge but I'm hoping that not the case here. I hope they are well tailored and I think they should fit sort of slim but not too slim. My waist is 32 but I have broad shoulders, when it comes to the shirts I have to go for XL because L is too small for me :( I think L is the way to go for me when it comes to this jacket. Steady's version looks pretty sweet judging for the photos on their web page!!
 
will anybody order the official gloves as well? Wish I could, but it's almost the same price as the jacket:confused...

You are IDENTICAL to me. Same height, weight, pant size and build(wide shoulders). The medium I am sure would be to short in the arms and xl would probably be to loose in the stomach, waist area. Get the large and never look back!

If I was making a display I would probably get the gloves as well but since I am basically getting the jacket to wear I will pass on the gloves for now(at that price at least).
 
I'm just getting some basic brown driving gloves for Halloween. Maybe I'll go for the official ones later on. Trying to keep the budget down for now. Especially since I'm going to be wearing a home-made jacket replica.

It's gonna be pretty basic though, just trying to capture the "feel" of the jacket for Halloween.

I'm not sewing anything or making patterns. I'm just adding some stuff to a white satin baseball jacket.
