Some more detail shots of the jacket. Notice the satin chocolate brown lining as well as the ivory quilting undernearth the brown knit collar...just some more details...

notice the color of the jacket. It's not simply silver/white. It seems it has some yellowish overtones but when you look at pictures of their jacket from the blog, especially the one where scorpion is being embroid, it looks totally different. Also the color of the scorpion looks a little bit off. What do you guys think?

As for the jacket material, it certainly is an interesting color. Under some lights it's white, others it's cream, then sometimes it's like a peach color. Does white satin always do this?
EDIT: The updated site says the color is ivory.

ivory.. I just noticed that on their page and I believe it's the right color for this jacket, it's not silver nor white satin.
Now I'm wondering how the scorpion will look like. :confused

I know I'm kind of late but I'm posting some pictures of what my costume looked like in the end. I didn't dye my hair or anything but I think in the end it turned out pretty decent.

That's what everybody wants. They want the jacket to look like the one in the movie (the pic you provided). They want the stitching to go over the scorpion.
Seems like the replica jackets aren't going to have that feature according to emails received from some of the users here.

Why you getting it without the scorpion?
I think we should get our jackets from steady in 2 weeks.
I'm glad not too many people saw drive, I don't want people
to think about that movie when they see me wearing it.
I bought this jacket because I love how it looks like, not because of the
movie. I think that jacket is quite unique and I hope
it won't be mass produced.
A lot of people have requested it without the scorpion. And in our first lot of these jackets we're making one with an eagle and one with a bull (taurus).

I'm a sagittarius plus I'd really like to have this as an everyday jacket so to speak.. I think a fair amount of people saw drive. Its one of the highest rated movies on IMDB right now.

I was gonna say the same thing haha, very similar jacket. I wonder if this might have been the inspiration along with the souvenir jackets from Korea.

well, the ETA ship date is tomorrow but Steady has been awfully quiet and have not updated with any new pics. It wouldnt surprise me if they push back the shipping date...Anyone heard anything?...
