Ya, honestly all it takes is a lot of patience as you have to basically to go back and rebuild things for it all to work. It’s clearly best to get it right the first time but that’s not always possible.

Not to hijack your thread (as if that's possible) - Massively inspired by your builds I recently built a Hoth/Bespinesque DL for a good friend's 50th birthday with the little added detail of a personalised serial on the rear G8R3TT50 (His name is G.Brett)

Looking good! Too bad Harrison "butterfingers" Ford probably dropped the darn thing and bent it so badly
Out of curiosity though, do we know which exact variation of the 2 1/2x Compac is technically the correct one to the GK? I know that there's at least two with slightly different center screw placements, even on the correct variant.

Ya they are attached pretty authentically. I designed up screws and such told them all together. You can take them off easily..

Thanks V! I’m certainly not goin to say my is 1000% correct obviously as the pictures we have leave just a little bit to the imagination but I do think my Compac is really, really close. For the screws, you mean the 3 on the windage base correct? Ya I’m pretty sure I have it as they appear on the SWC prop. Now, am I using the exact screws.. doubtful. But my whole Compac design is pretty darn close to what you see there as well. Now with this bent scope design I thinks its about 99% thereLooking good!
