all these parts need primer/ then sanding. The parts that have details like writing and such don’t need primer. Just wet sanded and then some flat black..

You know, I've always figured the gk heatsink was from a motorbike since the Mauser magazine box seem to fit perfectly inside the heatsink without having to cut the heat sink for it to fit over the mauser, as in there's something holding it intact (a aluminium box in the centre). And the only heat sinks that i know that has a trench inside them happens to be designed for bikes. An example is like this I found off google

* Edit* I was a bit tired writing this. I mean that most voltage regulator/rectifiers heatsinks generally have a rectangular trench in them to allow for a regulator to be fitted inside. I'm in no way insinuating this is the exact device but just a general idea of what I'm talking about.
