I did paint mine. I did not have any problem. I just pointed the spray paint at the parts and pressed the nozzle.

In the event that I do decide to paint mine...do you happen to know if it's a problem at all to use mineral spirits, paint thinner, and/or alcohol to clean the delrin or in the event I mess up and need to repaint?

I'm assuming this wouldn't cause any problems to the delrin but figured be safe than sorry.

That’s good to know though. For the time being I just used the cream to bring the black sheen out a bit. But if I ever choose to paint it in the future I’ll just make sure it’s totally clean from any grease.

It does look pretty with the delrin on its own. Halliwax last week told me, hesitantly, that he wanted to leave his unpainted. And I let him off the hook. So I guess it's OK if you leave yours that way too hahaha

I rather like the sheen on the paint, as opposed to the raw Delrin.

He didn’t really say much about the lightsaber, only “Oh I recognize that!”. The whole interaction was less than 2 minutes, but he seems like such a genuinely nice person.
