I have several RS x-wing helmets. All of mine are velcroed. RS offered replacement visors when they realized the visors they sent out early were trimmed too much. The velcro is pretty strong and hard to see since it is black against black cloth. I would be very surprised if yours isn't velcroed.

Just checked aaaaaand... It is Velcro, so that's Egg on my face!, to be fair that Visor Velcro is really strong compared to the Ear Cap Velcro.

Speaking of Ear Cups I've bought some vintage APH Ear Cups that I'm gonna put into my RS Helmet and put the current Ear Caps into a FAC Helmet I'm gonna get in the future, I think I'll take out the lining entirely.

Anybody have any tips or tricks to remove some of the excess weathering from the Denuo novo Shoretrooper helmet, looks like they applied it with a paintbrush!

I don't have any tips. I assume that look is explained by Shoretrooper™ Muddy Mess.

I think the ones Anovos shipped in 2020/21 were much better. Photos of mine can be seen here.

Where does it say it was manufactured?

Looks like they updated the site with tie helmets, and a new little Batman section with the 1989 cowl.

I would rubb it hard with kitchen roll for a while.If this don´t work I would use alcohol also.But please test it on an inconspicuous place on the helmet.

I have an Anovos Shoretrooper helmet but was considering buying one of the newer DN helmets because of the more accurate color, but man it seems like a real crapshoot on what kind of weathering job you’ll receive. When weathering looks like something I, with absolutely no paint skill, could do then you know it’s not good.

Can also confirm that the Anovos Rey is quilted but my DN Luke isn't. Other than that, I am happy with the DN Luke, but I got it at the old Anovos price due to pre-order, can't say I'd buy them in the 550-600 range.

They've put up the Black Imperial Uniform, I've been waiting for this to come back! hopefully the Grey/Olive version isn't far behind, I've noticed the metal disk on the Cap is a little Imperial Symbol instead of the metal circle design from the originals, I wonder why they did that? lastly do you think they've used the same material as the Anovos Premier versions or the Standard versions?

The imperial disk is what was used in Rogue One. Not sure why they haven't been able to get the original style pins.

The Anovos ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY Imperial Officer Hat was supposed to come with the Rogue One style cockade and the OT style cockade. When I received it in July 2020 it had the Rogue One style cockade with a note saying they would send the OT style cockade separately. I never received the OT style cockade.

I would guess Denuo Novo initially started the black hats for the Krennic costume. It would have been practical to have the same factory make the green hats at the same time. Hopefully they will include the OT style cockade, but there isn't any indication of that on the product pages.

I would think green officer tunics and pants will be offered since they have the black ones for preorder.

The Episode 9 Kylo helmet is in stock per an email I received today. With them being at celebration (along with buying a new expensive lawn more) I am going to wait to see if they are selling them there. But this is on my buy list for sure.

So I am going to have to agree in regards to the Red Leader helmet. It looks great, feels great and although the anovos rey had a better interior it is a perfectly nice helmet. BUT - I think since the Black Series helmets are a competitor and since that is the case the price point is just way too high. It is just easily compared to a BSH and those are so much cheaper. I only got it because I have lots of credit with them from Anovos stuff. If money is no object and you don't think Hasbro will ever release one I think it can be a nice purchase.
